"The food was excellent!! The rooftop seating was a great option for us. Inside the music was REALLY loud. The view from our seats was amazing. The table we were seated at was very snug for 3 and very close to our dining neighbors, but we made it work. The service was a bit slow but we were in no hurry so it was not a problem for us. Overall, it was a very nice clean place with delicious fresh food!"

"I was in the area and decided to stop at A Cut Above. It was rainy weather, and I walked in eager for a warm sandwich. Having previously heard about a few of their hot sandwich options, I decided to try the Italian beef side au jus. I was the only one inside and had to wait just a few minutes before my order was ready. In the meantime I took a look at all their cuts of meat they have to offer as well as the breads, snacks like jerky, and other items they have for sale. Everyone working there was super friendly, upbeat and eager to contribute to the workplace. When my sandwich was ready, I took the bag and noticed how warm it was, and without thinking twice about it, I sat down to enjoy my sandwich inside the shop. The au jus was warm and flavorful and acted as a wonderful dip for the sandwich. The sandwich itself was expertly prepared, loaded with beef, a tasty giardiniera, and some of the softest bread you’ll find. I’d like to say that I took my time with this sandwich, but given it was also warming me up from the inside out, it didn’t last longer than a few minutes. It was a great choice for a cold day, and I look forward to returning very soon to try a cut of beef."
