"They have the BEST ribs in town. They are always tender and tasty. They don't have all of that fat on them like other barbecue joints. The sides are just as tasty and the tea is off the chain. I only drink tea from restaurants that I can trust for quality and theirs is great. I usually order here once a week. The service is always first class. The owner is always there and working. He is not just there giving orders to the employees. He is working making sure orders go out correctly. He always thanks and appreciates his customers and asks you back again. I can appreciate a restaurant of this magnitude. This restaurant is excellence at its best from when you first arrive with the friendly customer service, quality food, a very classy owner, and its cleanliness. I give this restaurant a 5 overall. I love Rib It Up."

"Reservations were made for Birthday celebration. We were seated by the bar and our waitress (that did a fine job) was a bar tender, and she was doing both jobs. Portions were smaller than in the past. Quality was just not what we have been use to."

"Very impressive collection of American and European work. The museum is so large that I did not even have time to do anything except walk through the fabulous artwork (Asian, African, Native American, pre Columbian, and Wedgwood) on the second floor. Free admission and free parking. This place is a treasure that Birmingham should be proud of. Recommended."

"Always add new photos. Get the vodka. I had the green tomatoes with crabs and Pimento cheese, tuna diving with things for diving, the fish (omg, yes please). aMAZing. External seats are really nice. For the first time on the inside. It was beautiful too! The staff is fantastic. Never disappointed. Something I really like is... It's perfectly reasonable to be super casual or dressed... and everything in between."

"If I could only give 10 stars! Not only is the food delicious we had the Carolina bbq-plentiful, delicious and seasoned to perfection with tasty collard greens and a huge generously loaded baked potato) but the service from Tamara was friendly, attentive just amazing. On top of it all we left a windbreaker and James the manager took the extra time and effort to mail it to us. Well run and managed. Thanks for everything!"

"It was my first time to eat here. I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. The peach tea and cheddar biscuits were so delicious. I enjoyed cleanliness and how friendly the building was. It doesn't even feel like on the South Side. It's so well hidden among everything else around her. If you're inside, you're not disturbed by things going outside. We loved the bbq and the kids options. Chili-Käsefries were a hit for my 4 years old."

"We went thru the drive thru tonight. Plenty staffed, quick with food and the food was outstanding. I got the smoked wings and onion rings. My dad got the chili baker. Highly recommend them."
