"I had the bobo de camarão and it was very good. However the music was so loud I couldn’t speak to my friend and also I expected more Brazilian music, they only played Spanish. Also they tried to charge me $6 for a side of rice after I finished the one that came with my dish. I think that was too much when the dish I ordered was already $30…."

"The carrot and kale salad... Just great.. not a fried oyster fan.. so I had the pasta with fennel sausage and broccoli rabe. Best ever eaten.. a favorite of mine that they mailed.. also tried mushroom ravioli.. beautiful deep shroomy taste!"

"One of my favourite barbecue restaurants in the world. I was in NYC for a 6h layover and spent the whole time rushing here grabbing a bite then heading back to the airport. It is a fantastic brisket and amazing coleslaw. The sausage was a bit disappointing as it was not as ?smooth? tasting. Pulled pork also brilliant. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I highly recommend going again. I do wish they sold their sauces in easier to transport containers, I don?t live in the US so bringing it with me would be a dream. Highly, highly recommend."

"Wanted to try southern cooking since my date was also from the south. Tremendous food from the gumbo, shrimp and grits, to their succulent lemon chicken. Will definitely recommend to try this Southern restaurant if you are looking for it in NYC!"

"Had a nice conversation with the friendly owners, the hands on the whole process are limited ingredients fresh food. it is worth going away from how to go food stores there for cooked sides, cookies and deserts. I brought peach cabbage to home and had fried chicken yams and mac n cheese, all were perfectly cooked."
