"Wow! I was pleasantly surprised for a northern grill restaurant. The prices are just right for what you get honest, every meal serves 2 people. As it seems to be an assembly line restaurant, I expected dry overcooked food, but got damp beautiful smoked meat stacked on fresh pumice in Gravy (Bear style). Definitely worth the stop! Uncertain what to get? Ask the server their recommendation that I did! Bonus: You serve local made Hosmer Mountain Soda! There is also a bar."

"The Most Satisfying meal I've had in Hartford CT. I came in here thinking it was the bar next door but I wasn't exactly sure what I was in the mood for. I looked through their menu and settled on the 2 piece chicken lunch special. The collard greens were some of the best I've had around the country, the Mac and cheese was very creamy and cheesy and the Chicken was perfect and seasoned in a fish fry spiced kind of breading. I am glad I only got 2 pieces as anymore would have been bad in that I wouldn't have stopped cause it was so good. If your in this area come in to this place and if your thinking of getting the chicken Do it it's delicious..."
