"Oh wow!! I’m so sad that I just now discovered this place!!! It is AMAZINGGGG! I’ve been missing out on all this deliciousness for almost 2 whole years while living in Lafayette. Honestly, it’s some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had. And that’s saying A LOT. I got the 4piece fish and also the 8piece jumbo shrimp with red beans and fries for both. It was like $25 total. About the price of 2 McDonalds value meals….and 1000X the quality. The fish is cooked and seasoned perfectly and comes in large fillets. There’s none of that nasty skin left on, just big meaty white chunks of yummy fresh white fish. The shrimp are HUGE and also absolutely delicious!!! I truly can’t give this place enough credit and am so so so sad I’ve only just started giving them my business…because my expectations were exceeded beyond measure. The girl at the drive thru was adorable and friendly. It was made fresh right after I ordered. I’d give them 10 stars if I could.2nd order**I had family in town and made red beans and rice, corn bread, and collard greens…but knew Sams fried fish and shrimp would take my dinner to the next level…ordered a 12 piece fish and the 12piece jumbo shrimp with green beans and fries with both. Again….this place just blew me away and brought me right back to my happy place. Everyone raved for an hour about how delicious the fried seafood was. I had to go menus ready bc I’m just so proud I found this place. Again my order was made fresh to order. The shrimp were huge, the fish was perfectly cooked and amazing.I will say, I didn’t LOVE the green beans. They could use some onion, bacon, and garlic love lol….but tbh, they were irrelevant anyways. The star of the show was my red beans and their fried fish! I don’t even know if the 2nd box of beans even got opened ?Once again, the sweet girl at the drive thru made my wait pleasant and had my order 100% correct.Love this place man!!! 10000stars"

"Holy Schnikies... This place... The atmosphere was awesome... The staff was knowledgeable, fun, and great at their trade. The Zaesar salad may not look super special but the dressing was top notch. The duck with honey soy glaze was as good as anything I've had in France."

"Veg*ns can always find something suitable for eating in Ethiopians. ras kassa wasn't taking off. veggie sambussa with lens filling. it was good, but they do not serve their with the spicy sauce, which usually accompanies these appetizers in other Ethiopian restaurants. needs sauce! herbed hummus very tasty hummus. I suggest it bud with some annoying wot for an explosion of taste on her taste. vegetable plated in contrast to other locations they do not provide veggie boards that all the best / popular veggies that are getting worse, ktikil gomen, gomen and fosolia. here if they all of those who have them either order them separately at $15 per dish, or order 2 combo plates at $17 each that I had to do the latter of them. I have the spicy vegetarian and the vegetarian kombiplatte. I wasn't interested in her split, or the small crushed carrot stack that they put on the plate. the mixed sweet potato pot, consisting of sweet potato, has not won me either. the fosolie, the biervant fight, the gomen and the ktikil gomen were delicious. they could easily correct the combo-plated drama by offering a pick 4 for or similar. there is room for improvement, but overall it is a good option to go out."
