"Time to update my review especially after visiting Friday night with my wife. I will add this is only my 3rd visit in 5 years but I haven't been disappointed on any of the occasions and I will add somehow we have lucked out with no planning to have live entertainment on 2 of the occasions. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Dip and Chips as an appetizer of which was fantastic especially with the Bleu Cheese crumbles on top. My wife ordered and Half Rack of ribss and I got the 2 meat sampler with Brisket and Ribs along with Crispy Brussel Sprouts and Mashed potatoes. All I can say is the meal was fantastic with excellent portions leaving both of us certainly nice and satisfied. The Brussel Sprouts we're simply fantastic. I have seen a few less than perfect reviews and all I can say is I hope they give this place another shot and if you haven't tried it here it's worth the opportunity to make your own decision BUT I believe it will be worth the risk. The first picture you see if from Burger Week 5 years ago when we tried this place for the first time and the other two are from this past Friday night."

"The outside of the restaurant made me a tad uneasy as a first impression, but man was I WRONG. We felt so welcomed and the food was beyond amazing. I can confidently say it was the best soul food I?ve ever had, and I?ve had ALOT. The pinto beans were crazy good, the Mac and cheese was PERFECT and the fried chicken was crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Everything was filled with flavor and it was everything but basic. Do yourself a favor and just go."

"I enjoyed this place. My family does BBQ so I am picky/spoiled. This place is awesome. I recommend brisket and the best potato salad this side of my momma's. Moreover, the service! I battle with OA so some days I don't walk well. I ordered and when I got there to pick it up the young man came out and took my payment and then brought out my to go order. That's above and beyond."

"Such DELICIOUS BBQ!! My family and I love them. The ribs and wings are the biggest hits here. I love the corn nuggets and my kids (and I) LOVE their grape juice lemonade. Their employees are super friendly and they make sure your order is perfect. They are following all mask requirements and I always feel 100% comfortable there."

"After having a splendid experience from the first time I thought of trying it again. Today I have ordered the boneless chicken wings from lunch menu with honey hot (4* sauce for take away. The food got ready in just 5 mins. When I opened the box at home I found there was no sauce on it. Ridiculous. There are no tests of the end product before hand over to the customer. I never recommend anyone to this place."

"1st let me say we have enjoyed City BBQ for many years. Today we stopped in for a meal and they weren’t crowded. We ordered our food and went to grab a table. Of the 25/30 empty tables none, I repeat none of them were cleaned up and ready for customers to eat on. I’m not sure if a big party left or what but the place looked like it hadn’t been cleaned all day! Tables with crumbs and scraps on them. The leafs in the table had food particles in the cracks in every table. Food particles and French fries on the floor. Shoe/boot tracks everywhere I mean it was a mess!! It looked like it hadn’t been mopped in a week. I asked the manager if we could get a table cleaned up and he graciously came and cleaned one and wiped several others and I am grateful. The food was good. We will be back. But if it’s this dirty next time I’ll scratch my head on visits after that. My question would be if the dining area is this bad what does the kitchen area look like and would we want to be eating from there. I have it two stars only because the food was good!!"
