"I called and put an order for our Thanksgiving dinner. I have to say that everyone was super friendly when I was eating on the day before thanksgiving and we were very happy with all eating, it was delicious! we will get the next year to eat from them again!"

"This was my first visit to this restaurant and the food was amazing! I ordered the smothered fried chicken wings with beef gravy and it was heavenly. I enjoyed my food so much that I ordered three more wings with the beef gravy. I had a side order of collards with turkey bits and every bite contained turkey and my other side was green beans with brisket. Yummy! The owner was so friendly and hospitable and I couldn't leave without filling the tip jar. If you're ever in Montgomery, hit up this joint because the food is outstanding!"

"I was there at opening and was seated immediately. I went to sample legit southern cooking. No disappointments. I had an very filling lunch of baked chicken, collard greens, fried green tomatoes, and cucumbers. Added ice tea and banana pudding. For $12.50, it was a great value and I got the southern culture as a bonus...from the wait staff and the patrons. I am writing this review in a coffee shop of a major casino where I was just charged $7 for a glass of ice tea. Do you want good value in warm surroundings or lousy value in a corporate entertainment palace? Choose wisely!"

"Fried chicken skins! first I thought that was gross, but omg was delicious! the teig was just mouth water! cheese and charcuterie board big meat and cheese (made in the house, I think? the sauces they had on the side were the perfect balance of sweet to go with the cheese."

"Fantastic! Excellent waitress! Raw oysters the coldest and best I’ve ever had! All the entrees were great besides my husbands steak wasn’t much to brag about. He had a ribeye. My daughter had the sirloin which was as flavorful as it could be and super tender! The shrimp and grits were Devine! I believe the most flavorful little shrimp I’ve ever had.! The redfish was a huge hit as well. We loved the food so well we are going back tonight! Can’t find raw oysters just anywhere. The bread pudding definitely the best I’ve ever had. We got the loaded and it had candied pecans all over it !!! Like OMG this meal was fantastic! Loved it!"
