"Used to eat here often when living in Edmonton about 5 years ago. Waitress remembered us, and the service was friendly with lots of thank you 's. They may have gotten a new cook though, because the food wasn 't as good as in the past, and there was less meat than in the former days. We were pleasantly surprised, however, with the streamed fish one taken from one of their aquariums. Very tasty, tho kind of pricey at $15 per pound. This one weighed at most 1 pound cooked, but they charged $30, maybe because she had estimated that the small fish in the tanks weigh about 2 pounds. Oh well we pay for our experiences. But on the positive side, their hot sour soup remains one of the best in Edmonton. And the sizzling pan of eggplant was quite memorable. Huge container of streamed rice was a bonus, enough for 7 of us eating. Cost was $130 before the tip, which was okay. They offered a Dinner for 4 or was it 5? But for the same price, we got to choose our favorite dishes. Will go back especially for the soup."

"Seriously guys don't go to any other Donair place! This food is delicious! And the service is great. So friendly and kind. Place is really clean too. Went to Prime Time Donair and you can't compare. You'll waste your time and money going there. Don't! I had a poutine and beef donair at Firezone and boy was it amazing. I couldn't stop eating the poutine before my donair it was so good. The donair meat was tasty and soft. Not chunks or dry. Will definitely come back! Thanks guys!"

"We ordered 2 wonton soups and a general Tao chicken. The soups were extremely salty. As for the chicken, about one pound, teeth-breaking hard. Like leftovers recooked I don’t know how many times. There were also three silices of raw carots and one very smal slice of onion. And as for the rice . . . absolutly none. It was not the first time we had ordered at this restaurant, but it surely is the last. I discourage everyone for even entering this pickup restaurant. There are lots of superior places to order from. I rate this place a 1, because I can’t give it a 0."

"I am so in love with this place I am writing reviews everywhere to tell people about it. I started off ordering in to my work for lunch from Skip the Dishes. I then began to go directly to the source. Located in not-the-greatest-area on 101 St. in Edmonton, you will immediately forget all about that once you step inside. It is a warm and cozy little patisserie-type place where goodies literally abound. I used to be addicted to their delicious eggs Benedict served with salad until today. Today, I had their lunch combo for $17.95 and had the scrambled eggs with turkey and chicken bacon on a croissant. This came as well with a salad, a drink and dessert. I have found a new addiction *drool*. It was divine! I am so in love with this place and think it is the best restaurant in all of Edmonton. I will be buying my airplane meal from them and taking gifts to my family in Toronto as well as trying not to return on a daily basis for lunch. Oh well, see you tomorrow M&G!"
