"We were looking for a place for a quick bite before we picked someone up at the Airport.Our GPS led us to Southside Cafe. We were disappointed to see it was not open. As it happened the owner was just walking up and invited us in, saying he could make us something. We had a nice chat and a good sandwich, before being on our way."

"Had no idea this was hidden in Steveston and I go there all the time. What a find. Loved everything I bought. Cheese sausage and pate. Also has my German Mustard, Mayo and pickles. Will be going there alot. Was desperate for a good European Deli. Recommend to all."

"The parking lot has just been freshly paved and lined so hopefully more visitors can park properly. The food choices are limited but very good.The price is a little above mid-range for sandwiches. When compared to a White Spot burger fries at $15-$20 the price is reasonable."

"Went here on our once a month weekend Dim Sum. Normally there's 3-4 families that get together and go. We normally show up at 10 am when it opens, so it's cheaper and get a large table. The prices have gone up about a dollar a dish. The food here is consistently good. We did our sons one month old, they do set menu's for that if you do something like this."

"There is nothing especially great or bad about this Subway. Service is slow but with only one employee working she was doing the best. The sandwiches were well prepared. The cookies were great. Bread was as expected for near the end of the day. Prices were a little on the high side but not more so than other chain restaurants in the airport. While it is far from great, we have eaten here a few times over the years. Better than some of the other experiences with food at this airport. If you are from the USA, please note that the Subways in Canada do not have the same cheese and dressing choice as a Subway in the USA. ex: no provolone cheese, no vinegar and oil. Depending on your attitude this may be important to you."

"If you want quality fried chicken from a local non chain restaurant look no further than LA chicken in Richmond. The chicken is always juicy and the batter not too thick yet crispy as can be. Go for the spicy which isn't hot but flavorful....This has been a staple stop for us for a long time. Worth a visit or two."
