"K W Gardens was recently sold and since then we found that the quality of the food was very inconsistent. Our server (who she refers to the cooks as chefs) mentioned that the kitchen staff cannot remember the recipe for dishes that are not commonly...ordered. After being consistently disappointed with the food we decided to source another Chinese restaurant in the south Surrey area (there are many to choose from)"

"On Yuen is our go to place for Chinese food. We have e tried others in the Fleetwood area but always go back here. Love the Foo yung, fried rice and chow mein. If you are feeling adventurous, try the spicy squid."

"I love how cheesy this pizza is and the cool menu choices. The paneer pizza is ???? and I love how hot and spicy they’ll make it if you ask. Leaves me with a good sweat after. I always pop by when I’m passing through the area."

".. revisit.. ,, Oriental Buffet,,.. not gourmet food... but adequate .. This Buffet has the typical offerings, sushi, wonton soup, sweet and sour soup, chow mein, fried rice, bean bean chicken, small cut pork ribs, fried drumsticks, assorted vegetables, fried smelts, fried fish, dim sum, tater tots, french fries, egg foo yung, shanghai noodles, salad offerings, crystal prawns, assorted cakes, cookies, cut fruits, and ice cream for dessert. They use to offer a BBQ station (at lunch) where you can grill some beef short ribs (maui cut) and pork,,but those days have past. The Oriental Buffet 'opens ' at 11am, but they were still setting up the Buffet until close to 1130am. Usually, large groups, even bus tours arrive at 12-ish and truck drivers, deliverymen, businessmen and groups of seniors compose the mix at lunch time. A better option may be the Korean BBQ/Buffet across the street in the strip mall. There you can select the raw ingredients for a table-top (hot stove) cooking experience! And other Buffet offerings as well. There are many eating options in this area... maybe the time has past for the Oriental Buffet! Adequate .. but stuck in the past!"

"Wow, the newly re-opened Belles is noisy. Had to repeat my order a couple of times as the server couldn’t hear me. Noise level didn’t improve once sat down I gave up trying to talk to my elderly parent. One big improvement on the...old Belles it was at least warm! The sandwich I had was fairly tasty, and the coffee was good. My mother said the soup could have been a lot hotter, and I must say her sandwich looked a bit unappetizing, mainly because of what appeared to be too-warm processed cheese in it. There are a lot of cafes restaurants around South Surrey these days, so doubt we’ll be going back here anytime soon."

"Love their milkshakes. Not much of a burger fan, but I do like their burgers; just wished they had multi grain buns. Their wings were tasty also. Very nice gentleman took my order and was very accommodating."
