"I'm not 100% sure how to describe this, nothing was done wrong. But then again nothing was done over uniquely. The food was good but nothing to write home about or explain how amazing it was, I found my steak to be a little tough but it was cooked properly. Everything was standard and that's a really good bar to live to. I would personally like to see the overall atmosphere be a little bit more clean. It looks a little worn.If you're passing through, need a quick bite to eat and need consistently good food I would recommend here."

"Every guest leaves happy.... I went in there the other day and noticed they have this new thing, 'every guest leaves happy '. Jokingly, I asked the young male server what they were doing before. I think he was slightly shocked when I asked him, but gave a humorous response back. Burgers are always great Canadian and the firecracker are my favorites. I was adventurous and tried the Vegetarian Burger. I thought it was real meat! I couldn 't tell the difference. I wish they offered rice or beans with the fajitas, like they use to. A competitor offers both over in the plaza on West Drive and Queen. The steaks are inconsistent in shape and cut. They have a steak guarantee on the menu. If it isn 't done to satisfaction, they 'll buy it. It really depends on the night of the week you go. The ribeye sucks. It is too fatty here. I know it is suppose to be marbled yada yada...but...the grissssssle on this thing....YIKES. The 12 oz sirloin and the 8 oz seem to be the way to go. I like the chilli glaze myself. My wife always orders the portobello mushroom 8 oz. The chicken penne is absolute crap. You are paying about 20 dollars for penne pasta, and little tid bits of chicken not worth it. I noticed too in the last little while their steak sandwich has changed. The cut of meat sucks now. It doesn 't even fit the bun! I think they went from a NY strip to sirloin cut. They jacked up their prices as well. Talk about squeezing us for every dime! Back ribs you can 't go wrong. I 've tried all the sauces. Apple butter is heaven. The south west salad isn 't too bad. Bit pricey for a salad with some steak on top. People don 't just want quantity, they want quality. If you drop the ball in either of these departments, their experience won 't be memorable or enjoyable."

"When we go to The Keg, we always know exactly what we are going to get, and there is never any surprises. This location is close to our house, and is a newer location. Parking can sometimes be difficult, and you may have to walk a little ways when you do find a spot. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the servers are very good at what they do. The complimentary basket of bread that they bring is always warm and fresh.. very nice. I always get the mushrooms neptune to start, and they are always good. We all got the Filet Mignon.. it's always cooked to perfection. I get the baked potato, and it's very good. My husband gets the twice baked potato.. again, very good. My daughter got the garlic mashed potato.. also very good. If I have 1 minor complaint, it is the little silver pot they put the bernaise sauce in.. it's opening is not big enough, and although it looks cute, it's not practical. In closing I will say, we find this location of the Keg, to be good in the sense that you always know exactly how your dinner will be, but there's no surprises, therefore... it can be a little boring. At least maybe switch the veggies up once in a while.. the green beans and red pepper are ho hum. Maybe add an exciting side dish or make the feature something more exciting than a steak with seafood on top and some type of creamy sauce... it's always a variation of the same feature. Even when it's the special Lobsterfest menu, I may be wrong, but it feels like it's the same menu every year. If you're looking for a nice meal, that is always good..the Keg is your choice. If you like to be excited about your dinner... well.. yawn."
