"Great food, terrible management. The band didn't show and management didn't even acknowledge it. It was as if they thought no one noticed. They charged $100 to reserve a table and didnt even credit it to your bill. Music was too loud dor dinner conversation. Menu was not accurate. The poor Server wore all the hats, bartender, server, cashier, butcher baker and the candlestick maker. After 8pm the crowd becomes questionable. Overall, good location, good food, large space. Outdated decor and it smells old. Such potential to be a great place. Wish I had money to buy it, I would transform it and make it excellent. Definitely keep the cook. The gumbo was everything."

"I've been to fronk's a couple of times, and the food never disappointed took my mom for a pre mother's day lunch, and it was amazing. The bartender who had to be our waiter too was very pleasant, friendly, and attentive to us. We ordered the 3 wise men's dish, which included pork hot links, baby back ribs, and we got 3 sides with that sweet potato fries, Mac and cheese, and Battered corn on the cob. My mom had a refreshing wild berry lemonade, and I had an ice tea. The restaurant was clean, and the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms could be a little better."

"Food is great. You are not allowed to dine in, but takeout. Call ahead. It's a 45min wait. Other than that fantastic food. I got sweet tea was good. BBQ sauce has a good kick to it. We ate right outside in the back there was public seating available, but not a lot of it."

"I was born and raised in Wilmington Ca, so that I ate Mexican food all my life. Don Chuy in Bellflower is something special.. The taste and taste of meals is what brings me and family back.. I had recently had a relative return from the Pacific Northwest for a visit last Thursday and he renked and bragging to his wife about the Mexican restaurants he missed and when he named older places in the South Bay and Harbor area we would call GO TO or often I slipped my head and told Follow me to Bellflower.. He said BELLFLOWER? I had to be honest. Nostalgie? Yes many places in Wilmington and Carson, but taste and good Abuelita type meals? DON CHUY family .. unnecessary to say His family and his guests never had Mexican food so good.. It was Thursday 1:00 and they still had to drive to San Diego.. Just to her faces after 1. Seeing bite was unpaid.. Needless to say, I had to say two Enchilada records home for my wife and daughter, but it felt the family and memories for us that Don Chuy's brings into our hearts.."

"I typically love this place but, I came here a while ago and asked for my usual order which I gladly received. My food was pretty cold and wasn 't fresh at all. I believe that the food is made at least a day before it is reheated and sold. The employees weren 't friendly at all, couldn 't even keep eye contact, and kept shouting to others in the back of the restaurant about passing out drunk last night. Definitely wont come back here any time soon. Very irresponsible, loud, boisterous, horrible customer service. I couldn 't even eat in piece. I went to break my chopsticks and they didn 't split down the middle, they split at an angle and chips of wood flew. This happens all of the time (cheap chopsticks) but I just wanted to caution you."

"Been using door dash for 2 years and Ive never written a review, I usually have pleasant experiences however I tried their fries and tacos, and it was a pick up order... Disgusting fries, the texture was the equivalent of liquid paste with beans. The guac was pure liquid, the tacos had no lime or onions. I picked up and ended up waiting an additional 24 minutes. I saw a lot of people im order burritos so I assume they must be good,"

"Hambone 's is a popular BBQ joint owned by Bellflower and operated by Pitmaster Kenny Hamilton, who came to Los Angeles via Mississippi. What drew me here was that this is one of the restaurants in South Los Angeles, which is sold as black tacos that relate to tacos sold by black companies to predominantly black customers. Hambone 's serves a very simple black taco with chopped grilled meat with sauce on flour tortillas, dressed with salad, shredded yellow cheese and cubed tomatoes. I was a bit cheated because I could not taste the difference between the Pulled Pork Taco from the Beef Tri Tip Taco, as the BBQ sauce on the meat was so sweet and pervasive that it tasted both tacos the same. My fascination with black tacos aside, I could smell Hambone 's hickory smoked meat from my car when I entered the parking lot, which brought me in mood to have something more substantial than a taco. I'm often disappointed at the BBQ restaurants in Southern California, so I crossed my fingers as I ordered a Half Rack of Spare Ribs. The ribs were cut neatly in a way that made me a little skeptical (in my experience, pretty BBQ is usually bad BBQ), but only in the short moment before I started eating them. I was thrilled by a stubborn hickory taste through textured, dense pork that cleanly snaps off the bone with a tug of your teeth. My biggest mistake is that, like the Taco meat, these ribs are strong with a thin glaze that is sweet and sticky, reminds me of an Asian type sauce one would eat on the magenta hued reserve ribs found in cantonese restaurants throughout America. Don't get me wrong, the sauce tastes good, I just wish there was less of it and that I had the opportunity to use it myself. It is a shame, because Hamilton is proud of his ruin and speaks of whether it is as his secret of weapons, but I could not see where the ruin stops and the sauce begins, and the sauce made everything sooooo sweet. Next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. I also ordered Collard Greens, who were flat greens that were stacked on top of each other, almost too tidy looking for collar, but nevertheless delicate, piquant, filled with pork flavor, and only a touch of acidity. Sippable pot liquor remained as soon as I quickly send the greens. These were very good by Southern California standards, even if they were on average in the south. This is an older restaurant that has aged on the outside, but is a friendly, clean place inside. Izzie at the front counter took my order and answered all my questions. Overall a pretty good barbecue area."

"The thru service drive is excellent. You don't have to ask for ketchup like McDonalds. I have a corn dog and I was so happy that there was mustard I didn't have to ask. I enjoyed it so much. It was perfect. Thank you."
