"Was in town for an event at Stetson University, and the two of us were looking for an interesting place to eat, and Mexican appealed to both of us as soon as we saw this place.It's a tiny place, and almost every table was taken (a good sign), and there was a steady stream of take-out customers. It isn't fancy, but I don't care about that at all. The food is all that counts.We were first served a generous cup of salsa and chips. The salsa was blended smooth, not chunky, which is my favorite kind of salsa (but rare), and was spicy and delicious. The chips were house made and crispy. For my entree, I got a Wet Burrito, which is what I usually get at a Mexican restaurant, with spicy pork carnitas, and my companion got a chicken Chimichanga. Both were as perfect as we've ever had anywhere, fat and full, with a generous side of rice and refried beans. It was excellent, and so big that neither of us finished it all. We were both extremely happy with our selections.The whole dinner came to just under $40, with tip, which is an excellent value. Chipotle wouldn't have been much less, and not nearly as good.Later, at the event, I even overheard one student recommending it to another student.A grand slam home run, and highly, highly recommended."

"Most deffinatly one of the most beautiful dunes in experiences I had in probably 4 years, the menu was easy to read and understand, personal was friendly, eating was good and hot, spicy fish was best. sweet tee was good, lobsters were artificial lobsters, I think, but better than most real lobsters I had. great work everyone, wished they were closed at home"

"First time here it won't be the last! I had the fried chicken and it was great! Very juicy! The breading was just right and what a taste! Do NOT pass up on having the corn bread! It's amazing! Ask for butter better than the little packets on the table. Husband had the pile o' gizzards. Im not a fan but he said they were excellent! Saw a guy having the meat loaf and he said it was very good! Open 24/7 they NEVER close! Waitresses are sweet will get you ANYTHING you want! LOVE the homey feel of the place starting with the comfy chairs! We could sit there for hours! They treat EVERYONE like family! 5 stars is not enough! Im giving them 10!"

"I have to say I was very impressed with the Food, atmosphere and the Service! Our server Jessie Jo was just Awesome! She knows all about the food. Being our first time eating there and being undecided on what to order. Jessie recommend the combo platter for two. Ribs, Chicken , Pork and Brisket and 4 sides. Man it was all so Good. The sweet tea was just right as well. I can't wait to go back and try some more of different things on the menu. I almost forgot another recommendation for our server Jessie was the Sweet potato casserole with a little extra cinnamon butter on the side.. Man I'm getting hungry again..I highly recommend Pit Master BBQ..."

"The service was great (10/10) with a friendly and knowledgeable presentation. The food was good with a reasonable smoke. The pulled pig was quite fat, but the St. Louis-Style ribs were usually covered by the bone with only one hint of bark."
