"Ordered online and got two salads. I love this restaurant as the Impossible Taco Salad is one of the few things gluten free and vegan I can eat. No other restaurants have options like that for me. And on my takeout bag it says “quality checked by Jon.” Whoever Jon is I thank you for checking the quality and making sure it was amazing because it was. And thank you to the amazing staff who always provide wonderful service and food. Thank you for all you do!!"

"The only reason I give 2 stars and not 1 is because the food was good. I sit here, write this review at 8:38 when I finish my meal (at home) that I was forced to box and go when I was 3 bites in. I came with my parents at 8:05 we ordered 5 things, food came to our table at 8:20 (one of the entrees was wrong btw, but the sweet girl who took our order made a mistake - we said no problem). We are literally a few bites when the other server, a blonde girl, comes to our table and asks us if we need boxes. Why do we need boxes? We just got our food? I said no, thank you. It is now 8:29 and it turns off half the lights in the restaurant to pull us off. Then she started to wake up dirt next to our table. Next you know it?s 8:32 and she brings boxes to our table and tells us we have to go because she has to include the restaurant for security purposes to which my father reacts? no problem can you include? She tells us we can't be in the restaurant while she counts the money. Why don't we just stop our meal and we'll be on the way? In what world would a restaurant owner be all right with their staff who would throw the girls out 5 minutes after their meal? There were 2 other parties in the restaurant you were interested in, and she just seemed to care about us. So incredibly rude. This girl should not have a job in the service industry. We are regular natural cafe while we live across the street and are within walking distance. Next time I will talk to the manager personally and make sure that the problem is addressed. This is not acceptable and I will not feel comfortable to give business to a place that treats customers in this way. Long story short, we boxed our entire meal up and I was at home at 8:38 to refresh my dinner. Will order Finneys next time."

"This is probably the best restaurant in Conejo Valley. My friends introduced me to this place and I try to go whenever I’m in town. Great food, farm to table. I’ve tried the corn bread, gnocchi, crab pasta, the tomato salad with burrata, beet salad, green beans, peach salad, octopus, steak and the pork chop when it’s on the menu. Also tried several dessert items on the menu, the bread pudding and budino are my favorite! Everything is seasonal so their menu changes. My favorites so far are the octopus, the pork chop, peach salad and the steak that was on special as well as the cast iron corn bread! (That currently is my favorite! Service is great even when it’s busy! Last time I went the crab pasta was undercooked and they immediately took it back and offered to make us a new one. They also gave us a dessert on the house!"

"I've been here with group size of 10-12 guests, twice, and both times everyone was delighted pleased with their drinks, food and service. Their menu changes. On my latest visit I really enjoyed the Wildwood (I rarely drink now yet it was so good I had 3 ? . The pan roasted artichokes you MUST try, it was a crowd favorite! The vegan sweet potato puree soup was creamy and smooth. The branzino, I felt the dish was missing something, not sure what, but it was still very yummy. All the other items I tried were all also delicious but these would be my favorites."

"Always recommend the wild mushroom bisque at any of the locations. It's earthy hearty taste sets any occasion on the right foot. The Carne asada tacos, hmm I would the execution was off. It lacked the finesse needed to be authentic. It used good ingredients, meat, lettuce, corn. The layering of the ingredients was blunt resulting in tacos that had a weird texture. It felt like its components fighting against each other. However the Service is wonderful real warm and attentive. Great cozy location. Nice scenery, water feature view from window."
