"I picked up an order of fish and chips I was so excited only to discover that it was not properly cooked so the inside is completely mushy I’m including a photo I also was given some kind of dip but it wasn’t tartar sauce so I couldn’t even enjoy dipping my fries in it"

"I got stuck in Burlington a couple of evenings ago due to impassible traffic. I stopped by West Plains Bistro to wait it out, and tried the special of the day: blackened cod with salsa fresca, roasted baby potatoes, sautéed green beans, and cilantro aioli. I have tried almost every entrée on the bistro's menu, and can honestly say that the cod was probably the best dish I have ever had at this restaurant: it was a punch in the face of flavour in the best of ways. I would order it again. Steph and Annie are two of my favourite servers."

"It was one of the extremely delicious salmons I have eaten. The Salmon sandwich which came with greens was so tasty. I would like the bread little bit less toasted but still it was great."

"Enjoyed a wonderful dinner last night to celebrate our 28th anniversary. Monica was personable, knowledgeable and helped make the meal a pleasant one. Prime rib was perfect with mashed potatoes, seasonal veggies and Yorkshire pudding. The seafood paella was chock full of seafood, had a great taste and was enough for leftovers. Get a mini dessert to enjoy without feeling over full. Great restaurant for a special occasion or just a great meal."

"Second time here. Just as good as the first. Incredibly fresh seafood. Oysters are top notch (about $3 each). I had a monk fish dish prepared with curry over rice as the market catch. Just excellent. This is a place I not only like to go but also one I would think of to recommend to others or take others. Well done!!"
