"6/29/22 The night began tingly, as I called and asked to bring a cake, and was not advised over $35 cake fee. Our server was a bit in a hurry, but I guess eventually it's got out. You were great! Everything was nice. Everything in my birthday dinner was nice."

"We came here for date night because the menu just looked and sounded amazing. The host that seated us was amazing! He was much more enthusiastic than our actual server. He recommended the new specials and was just pleasant all around. Our server on the other hand didn’t really care to be there.. didn’t know the specials or anything on the menu for that matter.. for example so you don’t think I am just being a Karen. I asked for the sparkling rose (by name and they only have one rosé sparkling and one brut) he asked me which one it was. he also said “the stuff with the stars next to it are apparently supposed to be really good.” then we ordered.. everything was over cooked and just didn’t taste good. He kept setting everything on the edge of the table and never cleared any of our dishes from the table.Not to mention the food took quite a long time to come. I don’t mind if the food takes a while if the restaurant is busy and the food is good, but this unfortunately wasn’t worth any of it.I ate a bit of my food but disliked all of it so much I ended up taking it home because I just can’t be that person to send it back. Honestly what put the bad taste in my mouth was the “annoyance” from the server just not caring and wanting to go home and bickering with the bartender. We felt like he just knew he was going to make money because it was a huge bill and who cares.On a side note… they wear chefs coats as servers, so I would expect them to be clean. The place was just dirty all around. Definitely disappointed and will not return."

"One of my favorite seafood restaurants on the Emerald Coast! My family has always received great service from here over the years we have been in the Destin area. Always make sure to bring a jacket if dining at night and seated outside ? it gets cold! For starters, the hot crab dip is good. We never seem to have enough crackers to eat all of it, so one of us usually eats the rest with a spoon. I always get the stuffed shrimp. You have the option to get it fried or broiled ? I always get it fried. There are 5 shrimp altogether, THEY ARE LARGE. But they are also very flavorful, as they are stuffed with blue crab meat dressing and is wrapped in bacon! I highly recommend it. On the side, they have great hush puppies and fries. Surprisingly, they have good salads as well. Again, we have always had great servers. So Dewey Destin?s never disappoints! Check this place out if in the area!"

"It's all in the name! The atmosphere is very whimsical and random. Your eyes are busy to stay admire all interesting artworks, decorations, and knick knacks throughout the restaurant. The prices were very reasonable and portions were abundant! Service was PHENOMENAL! (Thanks Calina!) My wife and I both have the Coconut Shrine for an appetizer and the Blackened Grouper with a Grit Cake and Mixed Veggies. Everything was perfection and absolutely delicious! I couldn't get over the grits! You have GOT to try this place!!!"
