"We initially planned a fairly large wedding reception in a hotel ballroom in downtown. However, about three months before the wedding, we were not confident that the event would be able to occur, so that we began to host other options for hosting a COVID-safe wedding reception that is still fit with our vision for our big day. We found Bella Sera and are so happy that we made it! From the first encounter with Lauren throughout the planning process she was so incredibly helpful in answering all our many, many questions and helped us to feel confident that we would be able to plan a beautiful wedding reception with just three months. Your organization and attention to detail was so appreciated during this really stressful time and I had no concerns that Lauren and her team would perform all the details we discussed for perfection! Our reception was considered absolutely beautiful in Bella Sera and we received so many compliments from our guests on the food and service of the staff. Both my husband and I said it felt like we were keeping our wedding there. Bella Sera also gave us a beautiful basket of wine glasses, pasta dinner features and a gift certificate to use there in the future, which was a really sweet and unexpected note. "The service was terrible. The young lady waiting for us spoke to her friends. My friend went to the bar to order us drinks and she stood there, chat with a friend and saw photos on her friend phone. After 10 minutes I finally caught her attention and got us drinks. She never came to see if we needed more drinks. Then our food sat under heat lamps for 20 minutes while they looked at them and went right by. Eating tasted good, but I threw up my intestine 4 hours later. I didn't eat anything anymore. For people who would never have been there, you would think they would welcome them. Not here. She totally ignores and waits for her regulars. Take care of the food!!!"
