"I had heard good things about their brunch. We ended deciding to go for a Saturday night dinner. Four in our party. Best way to describe the experience? Boring. The menu is limited, but sounds interesting. The dishes in reality? Bland. Nothing special. A lot of hype, that doesn’t deliver. The ricotta gnocchi was so over cooked that it came out as one big blob instead of nice individual pillows of goodness. And it was swimming in oil. The vegan chocolate chip cookies are rock hard and taste like a stale protein bar. The ambiance is dull. Great location and the waiter was pleasant. It’s just incredibly lacklustre overall. The prices don’t match everything it lacks. I’d give it a pass."

"Two of us came here for dinner. Alicia was our server and she was very nice and friendly. I got the package deal that has salad, steak, and 2 sides - rice and veggies. The wedge salad was so simple, yet absolutely tasty. I got the dressing on the side, but it came with a light oil - salt- pepper drizzle on it. YUM! It was so good. The filet mignon was fantastic as well. Very soft and tender. Almost hard to cut b/c it was so soft it swayed with your knife. The veggies were delicious as well. I didn't care much for the rice pilaf. There was a seasoning in it that I didn't really like. But, I was getting full by then.My buddy lives here and comes here often. I was just visiting for a couple of days. So glad we came here. Truly DE-Lish!!!"

"Asked about paints on display , made a comment, not surly, and the waitress stated I will bite my tounge ???? Waitress was rude, no cutlery, food was sub par. Worst beni I ever had. I had 3 slices of fruit, 5 mini potatoes, and a small slice of toast upon which eggs beni was place. Small ammount of sauce. No flavour in entire meal. 99st diner makes better food including on the rocks breakfast. The painting displayed a dark picture of horned demon in dark unpleasant tones. I guess the clientele would like it hahaha. Interesting clientele.. 60-70 age. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Worst hole in the wall I have ever been to."

"Had lunch here today with Mrs.Bubbasezso and a friend! Surprisingly good! We arrived at 11:30 and were basically alone for about 20 minutes, then all of a sudden the place was packed to the rafters!!! Despite it being quite noisy, the service and the food was great! My poutine bowl was a unique tasty experience! They were very willing to modify dishes for our friend who is a keto maniac. I’d do that again!!"

"After many years away, we decided to go to Chop for our anniversary dinner. The steak bites are really delicious and were the only appetizer we ordered. We decided to have the dinner combo which includes soup or salad (several to select from,) your main course with sides included. We had the Caesar salad which was a bit bland for me, and we had the prime rib mushroom soup which was very good and very flavourful, we would definitely recommend it! I ordered the prime rib and it was excellent. It really melted in my mouth! I ordered the end cut which is a little more medium than a centre cut and I loved it. I also had a baked potato and the veggies which were all very good. Our waitress was excellent and at the end of the evening she brought us a glass of champagne and an anniversary card with a card for a free escargot at our next visit, which was a nice touch to a great evening. We really appreciated that our waitress did not rush us and she was very accommodating. The only down side was that they wanted to seat us by the bathroom even though there were plenty of tables and we had a reservation. They did, however, move us when I requested but the hostess was not really pleasant about it. I would have given the visit a 5/5 had it not been for the rocky start!"

"Went for Christmas Eve Dinner, it was amazing. The food was excellent and prepared just right 10/10. The staff were incredible, an experience that I would recommend for all families to do. The decorations at the hotel are very well done this year and dont miss the giant gingerbread house."
