"If you are looking for vegan snacks or want to cook for yourself, this is the place to find specialty ingredients. They have vegan ice creams, Daiya cheese, Tofutti cream cheese, tempeh, jackfruit, Field Roast, Tofurkey, Gardein, fair-trade chocolate, gluten-free items. They also have an extensive Asian section. The produce doesn't always look great and is often expensive. You can find bargains and good quality, though, if you're persistent."

"This place was recommended by friends from us and was one of the best bagel shops I have eaten. The quality of the ingredients was excellent and it looks like they have a variety of different sandwiches to choose from! We came early in the morning to go some bagels. I ordered a pork roll, eggs and cheese on a garlic bagel. The pork roll was well seasoned and the cheese was melted. The bagel had a large chewing consistency and the garlic was not exaggerated. I also picked up an icy vanilla latte that was smooth and sweet. We also have a reuben pastrami melt, a bacon, egg and cheese that was also well received. I'll come back here in the future!"

"Best bagels in town by a wide margin. If you're in Homer, skip Safeway's bagels and come here. It's not in the center of town, but don't let that discourage you. Plenty of vegetarian options (cream cheese, homemade schmears, egg and cheese sandwiches, etc. . For vegans, stick to the plain bagels. Everything else has egg wash or butter. They always have at least one vegan schmear, usually two. Their hummus is homemade, changes often, and is usually made with an atypical ingredient (like beets . Their cashew-based spreads make a great sandwich (curried cashew was delicious . They don't list peanut butter on the menu, but I got a PB&J for breakfast one day. Owners are the nicest people. and like to use local ingredients when they can."

"The daily catch was from this world on presentation, texture, taste. That would have been back every night for the rest of the season. Put your hands down. Appetizer fish tacos were dry, no sauce, but the fish was so fresh. Our server did not recommend fritting. We saw $1. Stone dish was 30min hot! Tuna and shrimp were unseasonal. Halibut was so tenderly cooked. How? Eggs were overcooked so that the yoke was not casual enough to wet the bowl. Pork Tonkatsu was delicious. Vegetables full of taste. Cream brulee was unfortunately burned 30%. Pot de cream was tasteful, whipped cream was fine."
