"Booked for 7pm, arrived 6.55 made wait for 20mins as we had booked for 4, but actually only 2 sitting...... the rest is an upward sprial, the staff were exceptional, not to pushy, just enough, the food!!!! Omg, i had the grilled prawn starter to die for, then i had the sirlion with added prawns, ahhhhhh!!!! Sublime!!! Although they taste delicious, cuts of sirloin aren't quite as robust in flavor as a ribeye because of their lower fat content, and they won't have the same tender texture, either. The sirloin might be a lean cut of steak without as much marbling compared to the rib eye, but it's anything but dry, it was superb, just enough, and mouth watering, if someone asked me, name the best place for a cosy meal in limerick city, i would 10 times out of ten say......... Marco Polo Limerick 5 stars"

"It is a nice restaurant; the ambiance is appealing and relaxing. The service was excellent. The food was tasty and the dishes were generous. The pesto on my Tuscany salad was freshly grounded and the cheese was true burrata. I got a non alcoholic beer called erdinger. Good choice by my waiter as I left it to him. Creme brulee was rich."
