"We met the friend of our sohne for the first time in the afternoon tee. everything was really nice and special, and the service personnel/wait staff were excellent and super friendly and super stay. the person who has called us to confirm the reservation name is the same. we were really glad that we selected the maybourne hotel for this occasion. it is one of the best afternoon teas we have ever visited. it was really nice to enjoy the afternoon comfortably without anyone hurling us. we spent almost three hours there, which was very unusual and really special. we thank the entire staff for a special time. really great day."

"I think one star is too much. We were looking forward to lunch here and we were seated pretty promptly after they took our order. Our server wasn't the friendliest, but we chocked it up to covid fatigue that we are all feeling. However, my beer never came, even after our food was served and after a wait that felt longer than the 20+ minutes to get our sandwiches. My husband had to ask for it twice, going inside after our food had arrived. But that really wasn't the disappointment, waits happen. It was my blue molded bread. What made me flip the sandwiches over was that it tasted stale. It wasn't only stale, it was moldy. The reaction from the server was lackluster and when they replaced the sandwich, they reused the same food that was on the plate including the meat on the original sandwich. I really was disappointed both in the food, presumed high standards and indifferent staff. Perhaps there is a standard for rich locals and not tourists who spent a lot of money and time to come visit L.A. Don't waste your valuable time or money! So many other wonderful restaurants in the area."

"It's pretty expensive, but everything is expensive in this area. I have to give it 5 stars as the food is wonderful, the people who work there are kind and the decor/ambiance is great. Even the bathrooms have a nice warm vibe. The mussels and fries were amazing as were the different crepes. Even the omelette was great. The restaurant prides itself on housemade sauces and ingredients and it shows. I would highly recommend stopping by. Note that it seems like theentire menu is available all day which is really cool. They have parking out back, so don't try to park in front in the 20 minute max spots."

"First too expensive to serve pre-packed desserts. Secondly, I asked about the brownie they said they were all out, then I asked about a piece of chocolate cake, they came back and tell me that the cake had expired. How will they have run out of cake, this is something they should check better, but do daily because they call themselves a bakery and they are already packed in a refrigerator and run out crazy. All they do is open the container, throw it on a plate and call it the day. Then they gave me Muffin that they were just heated. It is honestly exaggerated as they demand so much still expired and pre-packed food. They also load for the kitchen that is funny because they heat up nothing but a muffin and throw a slice of cheesecake from the container on a plate. Very disappointed."

"We ate brunch outdoors. My Mother, who is a critic of all restaurants said that the breakfast sandwich with James Beard hash browns was perhaps the best breakfast she had ever had at a restaurant...high praise, indeed. Would definitely recommend and will return Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4"
