"I went to the Commack Diner on Saturday, August 1, 2009 everything was fine- the food, the service, etc. At some point, I needed to use the men 's room- which was, for a while, uneventful. However, after I finished doing my business in the men 's room, I was quite surprised- no, shocked- to see a woman in the room. She was a friendly, cleaning woman- just going about cleaning up- and I was still in the room at the urinal. I found this quite strange- and also, somewhat uncomfortable. However, she just smiled and continued cleaning- AS IF IT WERE TOTALLY NORMAL! I wondered at that moment what it would be like if a male cleaning person were in the lady’s room! Anyway, I washed up and went back to my seat- but I have to wonder- how can they run a place like that????!!!!"

"Love love love this place! Reminiscent of an Old school Brooklyn Kosher Deli back in the day. Pastrami is delicious always very juicy! Franks have the Coney Island snap you look for and the pea soup rocks. I enjoy seeing the Homage to Brooklyn all around me."

"Had breakfast with my mom this morning. Greeted promptly upon entry, clean facility and very attentive waiter (Greg) was gracious and made sure we enjoyed our dining experience. I had the Blueberry French Toast Combo that came with 4 triangle french toast pieces, eggs, bacon or sausage and hash browns."
