"Another BIT Irksome to go to a restaurant and see it full....but it is surely ISSS nice to start back to relative normality....and SUNBEAM is a great place for us. Vaccination QR codes/safe with ID and sign-ins are required. We noticed... very thorough table cleaning when people left. This was and is still a popular breakfast / brunch/lunch spot open early for the factories and large box stores in the area. From 6:30 until closing at 4:00 so it focuses on its energy food.. I found the food quality somewhat more beautiful than the other SUN type GRILLS, although usually comparatively expensive. Interesting sounding CRAB CAKE BENNY Special this morning but we are stuck with the regular menu. The SUNBEAM COMPLETE BREAKFAST $12.50) was good, although the two pancakes were a little cool when they arrived. I should be more precise if I simply say and make sure that the whites are a little firmer. The CORNED BEEF BENEDIKT $12.50) was also good with freshly cut domestic frits and not the usual frozen bagged type at other breakfast places. The FLORENTINE BENEDICT was also pleasant. Weekend MAMOSAS $7) are a new addition since our last Pre-COVID visit. The coffee is fantastic as always and the one. Service is attentive and thorough."

"Ordered the spicy italian sausage with potatoes and eggs… the dish was 95% potato with crumbs of ground up sausage. I had to order a side of sausages just to get through the dish.Shrinkflation is real."

"Something has happened in the kitchen of this restaurant. Very sad as it used to be reliably good.It used to be that everything from the kitchen was perfect. The Mushroom and Brie benedict had the cheese melting and was served hot. Every dish would be served hot with everything tasting as it should. We ate there many times and had been very happy.But suddenly something happened. Almost like a change in management of the kitchen or something. It was aboot a year ago and everything started going downhill very quickly. The benedict now arrives cold, the skillets arrive swimming in oil, the hash-browns are cold, etc.In the last year we have had 4 disappointing meals there with one where the comped us. We keep returning in the hopes that it will get better, but it doesn't seem to.We've also noticed the lineups are much smaller now than they were 2 years ago. I suspect we're not the only ones who have noticed.My hope is that they turn this place around. There aren't many good breakfast places in Oakville. It would be wonderful if this could be great again."
