"We saw the line outside the window from blocks away. We speculated that whatever this was, it would have to be really good to attract a crowd to wait in the snow. We got on line and were treated to some of the most delicious...fresh crepes made right to order. We had Nutella with banana, and maple with almonds. Both were perfectly cooked, light and delicious. A must have in zermatt"

"Unusually bad experience for Zermatt. Normally taking the family for crepes is a simple and pleasant experience. Almost hostile service and serious attitude from the Italian hostesses made this the only bad experience of the week. I recommend visitors instead try the small takeaway crepe on the main road earlier in the week we were greeted there with a smile."

"My friends suggested this lovely hotel and restaurant for dinner although it was far from the centre of Zermatt. It was clear that most of the guests ate early, probably after a long day of walking The heavy menu card was inviting and I chose...the baby lamb chops, which arrived very rare. The accompanying sauces were served separately on an impressive wooden tray Although the quality of the lamb was excellent, there was no real cooking and the sauces lacked imagination. My friends, who unlike me, were famished after a full day of activities, enjoyed their meal."
