"First time at this pub, we attended a Seinfeld trivia night. The event was well organised and Darren the host was excellent. He made it feel like we were amongst friends not strangers. The pub itself has that old school city pub feel but the facility itself is modern and fresh whilst still maintaining its original charm. Our meals were a good size, they were fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Could not fault them at all. We were surprised at how fast the meal was served as it was very busy. The staff were friendly, helpful and had good energy. The only negative was that alcohol is little expensive however it’s probably on par with most city location's? While it’s quite a distance from us to become our regular, would definitely return again for future events. Thanks for a great night."

"This was my second visit to this gem of a restaurant. The food is magnificent and the price is even better. The staff are friendly and helpful. There were 5 of us and we enjoyed Satay chicken to start very yummy. We then shared 4 main courses our favourite was the Pad Thai. They offer byo at a very reasonable price. It is quite small and a little bit away from main attractions but well worth a visit.We will definitely return to this wonderful Thai restaurant."

Friday night at Golden Boy was fun!!! The Tuk tuk menu option gave us everything you see in the pictures below!! Definitely value for money but wayyy to much food so be prepared to be leaving with a very full belly if you choose this option. Food here is full of strong traditional flavours. Our biggest mistake was telling our waitress that we can handle spice- in return some of our dishes were unbearably hot. My advice- ask for medium heat!!!! Kindly in response to this, our very friendly and helpful waitress gave us a small extra serve of the beef massaman curry to help cool down our mouths. Every dish was amazing but the highlight was the pork neck. Highly recommended soft, full of flavour pork with a tasty, salty sauce on the side, pickled vegetables and the papaya salad to accompany. With a great atmosphere, amazingly traditional and full of flavour Thai food, Golden Boy is highly recommended in my books ???? happy eating!"

"Im a big fan of Vietnamese salad, because nice crispy pork belly. Wow! But OMG! I didn't know this Indonesian style noodles is better than Vietnamese style!
