"We went for a birthday dinner. We had a party of 14. My duck breast was perfect. A friend’s duck came out almost rare, was heated up and came back out overcooked. Best portion for the value was the steak, which came out to the table more on the cold side. Most of the table’s food came out less than warm. Presentation was nice, though. Great view, beautiful building, nice staff, but not sure it’s the best idea for large groups."

"Third trip here and it’s consistently a good meal. We’ve paid more for less at several places around town. Some of the sauces don’t seem scratch made but everything works together. The wife ordered the Colorado Jack scramble and said the scramble was very good, she thought the bacon was a little oily. I had the huevos rancheros and it was very tasty, things were well balanced, a little shot of hot sauce and it was a good meal. Wait staff was friendly and checked on use several times. Good breakfast place."

"This morning I needed 9 coffees to thank my coworkers for covering me while at jury duty. I was able to call in and text my order so that when I arrived it was halfway done. Mind you, this is like 6:15am. And it was the busiest Friday morning as apparently the whole world had a rough week and needed that pick me up. AND the milk guy was making a delivery. Josiah and Victoria were undeterred, and continued to fulfill all orders with efficiency and a smile. I am so thankful to them both for helping me show my gratitude to others and for the always amazing coffee!!!"

"Sat this morning and had a terrible young woman there to welcome me. gate was gone and I wasn't even ready to order I was just double checking the prices. had not even had a snotty attitude “I am not open that they must go” apologise to them, I am only looking for trips. I sat down and waited and watched another man come and asked her if she was open this morning at 7:00 a.m. again snotty attitude. “No, it’s not I will not open 7:00 a.m. after 7:00 a.m.” to cool with their setting. I saw another one. after 7 o'clock. She was sick house security and she asked her for a big cup of water. she was again a huge braid. So the lady asked if they had any feasts that are free. she said we all count these tassen. they must be paid. so she left. I have her own cup and asked her if she could just fill it with ice. of course, she was turned away. immediately after the wake. this girl. called her friend (at the shift in register) and begin to complain about the watchman who demands for a fluffing cup of water! how annoying she was and how dieucks counts every single cup. I don't know that the people have to drop and throw them away. there is no way they count each individual cash and pay for them. whoever this girl is needs an immediate setting adjustment. Serious service."

"The honey butter croissants were to die for! Absolutely delicious! I'd go back JUST to eat those again! Our waiter, Bailey, was kind and attentive. The food was great! The wait time for our food was a little more than normal, but I think this IS the new normal. Nothing to be upset about. Will definitely visit again!"

"Stopped by this place on a whim my son was asking for waffles. He absolutely loved his waffles. Service: excellent Jordin was awesome and very attentive. "Wonderful customer service and delicious coffees. They are consistent with the way they make their coffee drinks and that’s really important to me. Other coffee shops can be hit or miss with the drinks tasting different each time depending on which employee makes the drink. But I have never had that happen at The Drowsy Poet! Can’t say enough good things about them."

"I'm in love. Aside from the fact that their food is delicious, it's just such a refreshing idea. There are so many ways to make chicken salad and they offer a good many of them. You can also find a wide selection of tasty and reasonably healthy sides like broccoli salad or tomato bisque, on the day that I went. This is one of my new favorite offbeat fast food stops. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed unless you prefer to have a greasy burger ?."
