"I used to go out of my way to have my morning coffee at Velvet. The coffee was excellent, service was fast and personable, and food consistently good. <br>

Had no doubts that emmanuels new sit down cafe on howard st would serve the same level of truly outstanding coffee as the original ristretto in 160 central. nothing but the finest ingredients and roasting practices finished off by well trained, passionate and friendly staff. since opening in 2010, over half of our 100 office staff have made this place their new regular for coffee. always a good atmosphere as well. range of fresh made stecca rolls are very tasty as well!"

"I love this place! I stumbled over le papillon this year as in the opposite and held for a coffee and drank over all baked and cake. everything looks delicious! Today I was back in joondalup area and looked for a French style baguette and reminded me of this place. it definitely meets the place that owner made it fresh from scratch and it was delicious.<br/> the owners are super friendly and were on the floor chatting with their customers. I'll be rehearsing next time."

"Yum yum yum the pastry on the beef pie was seriously delicious. I had the bacon and egg toastie and was dissapointed when I saw that the cheese wasnt at all melted but the bread was delicious and toasted to perfection. We also ordered the fish and chips from the lunch selection which is think is a little overpriced for what is offered. Our fish was a little bit overcooked and dry but the tartare sauce was tasty and the chips were nice and fresh. My coffee was great and I would recommend you to order the ice coffee."
