"I love this place because it's close to home, but more importantly they make as good or better coffee than the other more hipster oriented places in the area. Nice food available for a light meal or quick snack. If you're staying at the Mere Hotel it's a close walk to Joe and Lily as you explore the Exchange District."

"This new artisan bakery has a small but unique and wonderful assortment of goodies; one side of the shop is sweet and the other savory. I stopped in last week and picked up a "sampler"...2 of each. All were different and delicious. The matcha bread was umbelievable and the rhubarb croissants are going to become a regular. Light and fluffy while still having a texture...so often croissants are just this side of soggy if they sit for any length of time, but the last half, eaten 24 later was just as flaky and fresh as the first half which barely made it home from this little piece of heaven.Yes, they are pricey, but the quality of both the product and all the details, right down to the lined bags to keep the pastries fresh are well worth it."

"The best, and the worst, thing about living in the Wolseley neighbourhood, is that you are within walking distance of Tall Grass Prairie Bread. Tall Grass grinds its own flour, and creates some of the finest breads and rolls in the city. The multigrain dinner rolls are TO DIE FOR, but the sweet, gooey stickiness of their incredible cinnamon rolls is the number 1 reason for visiting this bakery."
