"If your are looking to have Spanish food in Guadalajara, this is a good fallback choice after running out of options. I would not replace other great places with Ventresca. This is not the kind of place that would be at the top of my list. Not even in my top 25 for Guadalajara. If I am in the mood for something different, then I would probably consider it again. It wouldn't however be the first place that pops up as an option. Not even as a fallback option.The food was good, but that's it. I was not overly impressed. We had fish, pork, tuna. Shared a variety of appetizers. They were all average. Not something that I would suddenly start messaging my friends or family about.The food was tasty, but not impressive. It could be better.Your palate can be satisfied at other places in a more impressive and pleasant way. From the looks they were good, but when trying them they honestly did not meet the bar.The service was good. Average. The waiters were polite in general. The one thing that I did not like is that they had a type of fish (totoaba) on the menu which I had never tried or heard about before. They had the kind of attitude of trying to make you feel a little uneducated for not knowing about it. They constantly referred to it, feeling over inflated about it being on the menu. Never explaining what it actually was.As far as I knew, it could have been a type of rabbit. I later found out that it is a kind of unique fish. Even illegal to catch in some places. Not the kind that you should shove on the client's face with pride. More so if you just learned about it yourself when it was brought in that morning. A Chilean sea bass is far better, just saying.This is a good place to try if you want to change it up a little bit after not having more options. I would probably not visit again though."

"I had read about japan for some weeks and decided that I really had to know how okonomiyaki was. a friend and I went to Uma uma to lunch a week, I had the okonomiyaki and was retired, she had the unagi don and. was thrilled. as others have said, the compact area can sometimes become somewhat loud, and the menu can be a cloudy price, but highly recommended for authenticity and general ambiente."
