"Just moved to the area from South Jersey and was desperate to find great Spanish food andddddd I did!!! Sancocho is my go to when its chilly out and it was so good! The carne guisada was also excellent. Definitely my new favorite place! I wouldve posted a pic of my meal but it smelled so good when it arrived that I tore it up lol"

"This is one of the few Cuban bakeries left in the city. They make fresh Cuban bread every day. You have big breakfast eggs sandwiches, pastelillos, croquetas. The Media Noche, one of my favorite is made like the Cuban sandwich with a half-sweet bread. Definitely recommend it, best Cuban Expresó."

"This is still one of the best bite for your buck in Hudson Country. Not a fancy sit down but if you?re looking for delicious Cuban Style food, Breakfast-Lunch and Dinner, this is the place. The service is fast, Very affordable and good tasting food. They still offer lunch plates for $3.50. This is almost un heard off now days. Black beans are great, the Caldo Gallejo(White bean soup) is great. The Moro (rice mix with black beans) is awesome."

"Was craving a cuban sandwich and was in the area so I decided to give it a try. I tried a couple of other cuban spots weeks before and their sandwich wasn't great. I'm happy to say this one was better. Also got a morir soñando which was great. My dad decided to get a small bag of churros (8 pieces) and it was only a dollar which surprised me. The women behind the counter were nice in the 10min I was there. Not just with me but interacting with others. If in the area I'd come back again. 2 juices, 2 sandwiches for $21"

"LA GRAN VIA. A CUBAN CUSINE, this is all TASTY and SALUDABLE. Our meal started with warm bread and butter, then I ordered the surf and turf, which is medium-heavy from large shrimps and rock steak, called in Spanish Churasco, as I like. On the page came an order of delicious yellow rice with red beans and a selection of sweet plantains. My partner had mixed the red snapper with rice and shrimp. The meal was great, and I spent about $88 and an additional Gratuity, Oh by the way, at the end of the meal I had a Cafè con Lechè, it was strong and had a great coffee taste on it. So if you want to have a great Cuban food and you will find yourself at Bergenline Ave in Union City, N.J. Then look at Gran Via."
