"I've loved this place since I was small, can never just walk through the window and if I do, I'm sure I'm going back to circle and walk in. this was one of these days, I was a great tante and took out my bffs girl and we couldn't let the window pass her not the outside killer her (like all well) this place is deep inside so ready, not in the position to make a decision making bliss, luck her! I have to share them a short tasty bite, sitting outside, which was not the best idea, because now we need to take more home everything is delicious! service is a hit and miss because they are so busy, but for the biggest part it is quite easy. Order, pay, out and stuff her hole and be happy a must when or when she is in victoria, B.C"

"I usually drop in here if I'm anywhere near Mayfair at lunchtime. Prefer the beef and potato curry but several of the other choices are excellent too. Nan bread excellent. Very good value and friendly service."

"Food is plentiful, very filling and slightly more expensive that several other nearby restaurants. Service was OK, wings were tasty and for about $6 had value. Drink specials are offered (varies by day, as are food specials) There were families with children around the age 10 to 12 level but because of the potential louder atmosphere, may not be best for babies and toddlers."

"We went to this restaurant twice in February, 2017. The first time we were there the foods were awesome! We ordered 2 dishes: fish in spicy liquid and tofu in spicy sauce. We loved the foods so much that we went there again 2 days later. This time we ordered 2 other dishes: squid with veggie and shredded pork to be put in wraps. The squid was as hard as leather and tasteless. The shredded pork was super salty and the wraps were dry and hard that was bought from a supermarket as I saw the waitress taking them out of a package and put them on a plate to bring to us. They worst dishes I have ever tasted. Needless to say, we never went to this restaurant again."

"I have had lunch at McRae's on a couple of occasions. It's a nice cosy little pub style restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The menu is varied. I have enjoyed the food and service on both occasions. I'm not big on having to pay extra to get fries with my burger."

"I ordered a chicken burger with salad. Burger came over dressed. Meat slipped out of the bun there was so much dressing on it. Scraped off what I could but still was overpowered with the taste of dressing, couldn't finish it. Salad had pumpkin seeds...in it. I am allergic. Didn't have time to wait for a replacement item. Was offered Chips to go. No thanks. No discount was applied. Complained to their social media, seen that they had viewed my message, No response until I messaged a second time a few days later. Was offered an apology, nothing more. Didn't seem like anyone cared on any platform."
