"We decided to try for fish and chips as were visiting for the weekend. Really sad to say that they were the worst fish chips we have ever had. The fish is not freshly cooked from scratch with batter, tastes like supermarket frozen fish. Chips were obviously sat a while. On the plus side, the young man serving was super friendly good craic. Sadly we wouldn’t go back."

"Brilliant wee place. The chicken tikka kebab with freshly cooked naan is beautiful. Their curries are also delicious. I love the chicken saag or chicken bhuna."

"The restaurant wouldn’t win any awards for its interior but the service was very good and the food tasty but not really true Indian. I did enjoy it but having been to several regions of India I know the food served here was very Europeanished. Lots of sugar added to sweeten the curries up, some of the dishes could have been desserts. They all however could not be faulted for the amount of meat in them. Some time you get lots of sauce with very little substance where as here it was quiet the opposite and it wasn’t cheap meat cuts either. All the meat dishes we had contained big tender, succulent hunks of meat. So although it was the Indian I was expecting it was still very enjoyable."

"In portrush fir the day with family and kids and they wanted fish n chips . This chippy is in a busy location so you would think it would be good . I should have used trip advisor it before going in . We originally wanted pasties but they only had two left which should have rung alarm bells as that’s a staple in Northern Ireland . However we ordered fish which took ages to come again alarm bells . When we had our order we walked down some steps to get a seat down beside the beach . When I opened the box the chips were on top of the fish . Unusual and again alarm bells . I discovered two half bits of fish dripping in oil . No wonder they had hid it under the chips and said chips were horrible . Don’t go here .there are plenty of other places"

"Ground is my go too, fairly consistent coffee, great staff bar bar the odd exception! However, Poor poor Gluten free options, which means we can’t go here when I have my daughter with me. Gluten free is difficult I appreciate though contamination but come on Ground you can do better than a pre packed lemon slice !!!!"
