"The food is lovely and can't be faulted. However, it is annoying when not everything is provided. We had a takeaway on Friday for a special birthday and the four poppadoms we ordered along with the meal were not sent so feeling a bit scammed!"

"We wanted a fish and chip shop somewhere near the Menai Strait and found the Codmother online. We didn’t pre order but this was no issue- three small cod and a large chips to share, all cooked to order in 15 minutes. And it was all delicious! Beautiful crispy batter and delicate fish. Highly recommended! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"We’ve had takeaways from Sarisa before, always lovely fresh food. This evening we decided to dine in and had a really lovely meal, as always. What I really wanted to say was what lovely, friendly and helpful staff they have, I dropped a bowl of rice onto my plate and knocked my pint of cider into my plate and all down myself right at the start of the meal, they couldn’t have reacted more quickly! Brought me lots of paper towels, took away my plate and replaced it with a new bowl of rice (which they didn’t charge me for) and replaced my cider (again not charged for) just amazing customer service! Thank you so much, we will be back, I promise not to make such a mess next time!!!"

"Looking for a lock-down treat we spotted the Britannia was open for takeaway. Sadly it didn't impress, although I guess one shouldn't be too harsh as these are difficult times. The starters were very bland and the batter fly prawn' positively rubbery. The pilau rice...tasted simply boiled and unseasoned, and although I found a cardamom pod in it, that too had no flavour to it! The main Arabian Lamb was tasty although not in the least bit spicy, and the chicken dish also had less bite to it than the mildest Korma. The side of aloo felt like it had been made a fortnight ago, and both naans my keema and her peshwari we so overcooked they were like popadoms in the centre and again had no taste to them. Very disappointing."

"Outstanding food! Fresh and very tasty indeed. My dad has been coming here since he was a young boy with my taid. Just goes to show how successful they have been to survive in Holyhead. For those who don’t know about Holyhead, there isn’t much to offer now, the town is full of takeaways, kebabs, pizza and charity shops and many shops open then closed down. If you haven’t been, it’s a must try. They have so many dishes and the best curry in town! When they are closed for holidays and I’m craving for a chinese I’ll try elsewhere but I’m always disappointed nowhere can beat Green Island! Keep up the good work!"

"Lovely place. Perfect for a nice meal after walk along the beach. Dogs welcome. Alot of fish dishes. There is also a chicken option but mainly sea food. The fish and chips was best had in a while, batter was perfect, chips fantastic and very generous portain. Picture shows the fish pie meal which my partner said was amazing aswel. If in the area then it defo worth going. Parking: Pleanty of spaces and good access to walks from thier car park Service: Dine in"

"This caffi and it’s staff are amazing! Nothing is too much for them and the quality of their food is fantastic. We live locally and discovered the caffi last year and boy what a find.
