"First time visiting this place, we went on Sunday as looking for a place to have Sunday lunch, when approached by a member of the team who was very welcoming and said sure we have tables available, the team member showed us to our table. A class touch by the owners on the tables there was buckets of lego for the kids to play with whilst there food was being prepared, my twin boys loved it, when th food arrived and it looked great plenty of meat and all the trimmings. Tasted absolutely beautiful, complements to the chef to which I found out it was the landlords mum who does all the cooking. Couldn't fault it, they have different offers on every day also so good variety of options. Will definitely return. Thanks walnut tree for a great first visit."

"First time I've used this takeaway. Ordered in person, waited around twenty minutes, food was absolutely delicious had a mixed tandoori starter, lamb bhuna and another lamb one with potatoes, chicken balti and a butter chicken. They sell chippy chips as well. Ladies in the shop were adorable. There was loads of food for £30. Thoroughly enjoyed it and though eating takeaway is not something I do that often I will need to have another of those butter chicken dishes very soon!! Definitely recommend trying this place xx"

"99% of the time the food is good and is delivered quickly. I love the Singapore chow main and the sweet and sour chicken Honk Kong style. Can't say no to their chicken fried rice either!"

"Very nice reception at arrival, service was quick friendly and efficient. the food was freshly prepared and with a lot of choice very delicious. price was very reasonable, they can eat or take away and there is a bar that serves a selection of drinks. highly recommended and would definitely visit again. new reveiw since the Kovid lock we used tandoori masalas online order and home delivery service. fantastic service, easy to use and good delivery time. eating is fresh, hot and delicious."

"A traditional old pub tucked away down a cul-de-sac, it looks very attractive from the outside and fortunately it’s got plenty of olde worlde ambience inside as well. The menu offered a decent selection of “pub grub” dishes, with options such as Pie of the...Day, Scampi Chips, Burger, and so on. There is a specials board on the wall, but this was completely empty. I enquired what the curry of the day was, at which point the friendly barmaid had to scuttle off to the kitchen to check, and then described it as a Korma. A little vague I thought, is that Chicken Korma, Vegetable Korma, Prawn Korma perhaps? Further questioning elicited that it was indeed chicken, although oddly I still heard her describing it as just Korma to other customers subsequently. First impressions when it turned up were that it was rather on the small side. The curry was served in a metal dish like you might get in an Indian restaurant, and it really didn’t look very much at all. The advertised naan was also conspicuous by it’s absence, although it had been replaced with a poppadom. Nonetheless, it would have been nice to have been told this when ordering, some people don’t really like rice and rely on the bread to scoop up their sauce. The curry itself was ok, but I can’t really say any more than that. Nothing wrong with it certainly, but not especially tasty, and as mentioned, a little on the small side. For or I suppose it would have been fine, but not for Across the table, a beef lasagne with garlic bread and a side salad was a better sized portion, although appeared to have been heated to such a high temperature that the top layer was almost rock solid. A little crispy coating is nice, but not something you’ve got to hack your way through. Once that was done though, the meat was quite tasty and for a tenner this seemed the better option of the two dishes. Overall I thought this was a lovely old pub and the barmaid was pleasant and friendly, but it’s not anywhere I would rush back to for the food."
