"Chinese Hamburgers and Northern specialties. Harmony is a unique addition to Ottawa's asian cuisine.<br/ <br/ Harmony has a great friendly staff and is usually busy with student diners.<br/ This is how I discovered Chinese Hamburgers! Everyone orders them as an appetizer or main with soup etc.<br/ The Hamburgers come in a Chinese version of a pita pocket toasted very nice. The hamburger is loose not a patty and tastes like egg roll meat. It is topped with a green onion chinese salsa. Really yummy and wonderful!<br/ You get 2 hamburgers for $5, but regularly they are on special for $1.25 each<br/ <br/ The menu features many northern specialties. I went with a large group last Saturday and we tried many fine dishes most new to us. Standards like Hunan beef and General Tso's were a delight as well.<br/ The menu has two sides Chinese and western or Canadian style. The staff is very helpful in navigating the menu and explaining the dishes.<br/ <br/ There is also a standard inexpensive daily lunch for $6.75<br/ The exterior may be dingy looking but the interior is clean and pleasant. <br/ Reasonably priced dishes and great staff provide a very tasty unique experience."

"We loved our experience at Thanjai! We’ve been searching for a great South Indian restaurant in Ottawa and were so happy to be recommended to this place. The dosas were incredible and they reminded us of being back home in Chennai. The chicken 65 could compete with the best chicken 65’s from any of the South Indian states. The place is unassuming yet charming much like the casual haunts you’ll find in India. The price points are very good so it’s affordable to enjoy a great meal. Both the restaurant manager and Chef (Rajath and Viral were very kind and chatted with us for awhile to get our feedback and suggestions. Definitely recommend this place if you want an authentic South Indian meal :"
