"Ordered a takeaway last night knowing we would have to wait as it was NYE ordered at 6.45 and was told food would be there by 9pm. Food eventually arrived at 10.15pm. Tried to cancel order several times but they’d obviously taken the phone off the hook. Rang today to complain and encountered the rudest person I have ever spoken too, who actually hung up the phone. Will never order from them again, appalling service."

"Really good food. freshly cooked and very good portions. the cod was fantastic. large pot with curry sauce. the meal could be made easy two decent meal times. the halloumi was really good. Crispy not soggy. really friendly lady served. eat a lot around the united kingdom due to work, but if here again sick popping in the codfather again"

"A fairly basic pub menu, but priced at the top end. The decor and location are lovely and the service from the young staff was excellent. They have good indoor and outdoor space and are dog friendly. The food was good and well cooked and presented, but there is nothing particularly interesting about the menu choices or the portion sizes to justify twenty quid for a burger. 12.5% service was added automatically. Topping out at £50pp, with modest drinks and desserts, this felt expensive. Perhaps this is what it takes for a local pub to be sustainable these days, but on a Friday night our table was one of only a handful occupied. Good for a special occasion maybe, but not a regular event."

"We did have a nice meal, couldn’t really fault the food, very tasty. It is a nice location. What spoilt it was the drinking crowd that made up the outside clientele. It was difficult to enjoy a meal when all you can hear is aggressive laughter and swearing from nearby table. I realise we could have said something to the staff but really I don’t think it’s my job to police their customers it didn’t take much to hear the sort of language being used, and I didn’t really fancy making a scene. Perhaps this is the market they are going for now, though there were families eating there and the food prices suggest something a bit more than a drinking pub. Anyway we ate up, didn’t bother with pudding and got out of there. Maybe just unlucky but if you go maybe check out inside for eating."

"Visiting out of town, found this great little Indian restaurant, none of that flashy bright coloured food just nicely cooked tasty honest food with homely vibes, felt like we were invited round for dinner. Owners are polite, attentive and happy to answer questions and chat. It's ashame really we are not more local. We would recommend this to anyone that enjoys good food."
