We ordered several portions of fish and chips from this shop. The sizes are huge and we couldn’t eat them all as there was so much food but the fish was lovely and freshly cooked and the chips really tasty too. It’s obviously got a good reputation as do many people had preordered and there’s was a massive queue. It’s near a lovely little park too where we enjoyed sitting eating. Wanted a quick takeaway read the reviews and ordered Scampi and chips. The food was cooked well with ample proportions but the oil gave us a awful aftertaste. What caused it I suspect that perhaps the oil needed changing. Shame but only points awarded read more.
