"While Stellarossa café is new to the city streets of Adelaide, the owners have a number of sites in Brisbane they can call upon to ensure they get the right mix of service, food and ambience to make everyone happy.The new Adelaide franchise will not win any awards for innovation or cutting edge cuisine but still makes for a pretty pleasant spot for a coffee or something light for lunch.Safe, but boring would probably be the best description, a pasta salad, a burger or two, a few cakes, some old fashioned pizzas, we've all been into one of these chain cafes at one point or another, ordered lunch, eaten, left and forgotten what we had pretty much straight away, Stellarossa Café is another one in that mold.Located near the city south tram stop, and pretty close to the law courts precinct it would make a handy spot for a catch up or a coffee break, just don't expect to be wowed."

"We booked a table for 4 for the Feed Me degustation menu, and were very much looking forward to it. In the booking (made several weeks in advance), we let Sparkke know that one of our party was vegetarian. Our first course came roast...beetroot with mozzarella and salad. The dish itself was fine, but that's where the promising start to the evening started and ended. It took an hour and a half to get our second course. Three of us got pork belly (with soft skin, not crispy), but our vegetarian friend? She received the same dish as her entrée: roast beetroot with salad. We thought it was a mistake. Apparently not. For main, she was treated to (wait for it) roast pumpkin with salad. We mentioned the issue to the waiting staff, but there was no apology, and certainly no refund. Overall, a hugely overpriced and disappointing experience, and phenomenally lazy on behalf of the kitchen. The desserts were fine and the staff relatively friendly, but your money is far better spent elsewhere."

"It was a cold morning when I alighted from the bus near this Cafe. There was a friendly greeting as I entered the warm, bright daylight Cafe. I ordered from their advertised specials, Coffee and brioche, at a very reasonable price. The cappuccino coffee tasted as such coffee should There were daily newspapers provided to read free of charge. Table service was friendly and attentive. I know I will return to this place."

"For the past three years we have been eating breakfast at a new venue every week and today we chose Zedz- what a mistake. We ordered and accepted that our breakfast would take some time, and it did. However, since it sat on the counter for 5-10mins (we looked at it longingly as the one and only waiter dealt with somebody else) and was not on a hot plate, by the time it got to our table it was cold. The mushroom on toast consisted of 6 cold mushrooms on cold toast accompanied by beansprouts (a mistake) and cream cheese. The bacon was pale, flaccid and under-cooked and the eggs cold. The coffee was acceptable. The cost was relatively high and the experience a terrible disappointment. On walking through the market there were several other restaurants that appeared much better and cheaper, we wish we had kept walking."
