"This is our favorite restaurant in Bad Ragaz outside of the expensive hotel ones. It offers efficient service, good quality honest food in a nice environment next to the river. You can eat inside or outside on the terrasse. You can choose among a good...selection of meat and fish dishes all served in a large portion. The prices are reasonable and it is an address that I recommend."

"- Die Bedienung war freundlich.- Der Salat war eher klein und einfach angerichtet. Das Brot zum Salat war frisch und sehr fein!- Das Menü war sehr klein, und viel zuwenig!Man bedenke, dass wir angemeldet als Männerverein waren und es nur Reis mit Poulet-Curry gab."

"This little hotel restaurant seems to be a local favorite. The breakfast included with the stay at the hotel was wonderful, offering a wide variety of local breads and cheese along with eggs, fruit and cereals. The dinner we had there was also a treat - we ordered the fondue and were very pleased. The service was friendly and efficient."

"Good food (we took the pasta and the pizza did look good) Service was pretty bad though, as we finished we got left out, it took a long time to take our plates, we were not asked for any coffee or dessert, after some time...we asked the bill and were astonished to see of water! (i.e. x We come from Geneva, one of the most expensive city in CH and even in the world, I can tell you that you don't see it there in such type of average restaurant! It's crazy! Apart from that prices for food are reasonable."

"Das Hotelzimmer ist klein aber fein. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich obwohl wir viel zu früh angekommen sind. Die Lage ist super, 5-10 Minuten zu Fuss vom Bhf und gleich in der nähe der Taminaschlucht. Das Abendessen war super.Wir können das Hotel und das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen."

"This traditional and popular caffe has a typical Swiss atmosphere and a friendly service. the coffee and the cakes were delicious and on a second visit I have cut the dish of the day matrosentoast' (sailors toast) in a curry sauce on toast with. a small mixed salad. my wife had the sausage salad that was just as good. portions were abundant and freshly prepared. beautiful place to visit when in the opposite. the low garage entrance is directly opposite."

"Wir hatten in der "Zollstube" Znacht gegessen und waren vom Restaurant absolut begeistert. Das Essen war schlichtweg einfach genial. Das Rindsfilet ist mir auf der Zunge vergangen; so zart war es.Einziger Wehrmutstropfen war, dass wir relativ lange warten mussten, bis wir Dessert bestellen konnten.Wir würden das Restaurant jederzeit wieder besuchen. Absolute Spitzenklasse."
