"On a beautiful autumn day, Restaurant Mittendorf was an excellent choice for a birthday lunch. There was a group of forty who were served an excellent 5 course meal. The food was beautifully served but more importantly, the calibre of the cooking was first class with very tender venison and a fish starter that was delicious. The range of cakes to finish was exceptional. Wines served were both excellent German wines. A very welcoming touch for us was the Scottish poster that showed a typical Scottish scene. The Mittendorf family had done this to welcome us as the only non-German guests. Superb setting, excellent food and service to match."
