What Gilbert Martin likes about Gulliver`s:
Wir waren (6 Personen) an einem Samstag abend dort, das Lokal war recht gut besucht sodas auch im Biergarten fast alle Plätze belegt waren.. Das Essen war gut und kam auch recht flott. Die Mehrzahl von uns hat sich für Schnitzel in den unterschiedlichsten Variationen entscheiden. Donnerstag ist übrigens Schnitzel satt Tag, die meisten werden wohl nur eines schaffen ;-) View all feedback.

this place found by tripadvisor and decided to go there as it seemed quite crowded in the night before. the reviews were pretty good, so we weren't worried. at the arrival it seemed pretty busy, but the staff put us for a table. 1 hour waiting time we asked the staff what took so long. apparently they could not handle the number of customers. it took 2 hours until the dinner arrived and we had to argue for a compleme... "Reichhaltige gut bürgerlich-regionale Speisekarte mit wenig "ausgefallenen" Gerichten. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut, die Portionen sind absolut ausreichend. Der Service ist freundlich. Die verschieidenen Räumlichkeiten sind gemütlich eingerichtet. Wenn, wie meistens, viel Betrieb ist, kann es auch schon mal eng werden. Im Sommer gibt es einen zusätzlichen Biergarten. Das Haus verfügt über einige Gästezimmer und einen eigenen großen Parkplatz. Im Keller befindet sich eine Kegelbahn, dort befinden sich auch die Toiletten. Das Restaurant vefügt über eine grundsätzlich schöne Aussicht über die Weser hinweg auf die Stadt Holzminden und den Solling."
