"This is probably the best restaurant in East Anglia. Exceptional quality of food, cooking, and wine. Very creative dishes which are crafted with great skill and passion from top quality ingredients. Lunch set menue is £29 (as of Nov 2023) for three courses, and is great value for money. More expensive a la carte menu and excellent tasting menu available in the evening (also at lunchtime). Awesome canapé selection go for the full platter as a sharer. This is where we go if we want a 'fancy ' meal. Would have a Michelin star if they had a sommelier. "I had a very comfortable large bedroom overnight, and a good evening meal. The meeting rooms were OK, the better one is the old kitchen, in the basement. The Wi-Fi was easy to connect to with no noticeable delays. There is plenty of car parking, and my attendees appeared to be very pleased with the Ickworth. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"The low mark on the service review was by no means down to the lovely waitress....she was great considerring it was her first shift. The low score is because it is impossible to get through to you by phone or email. 3 people out of a 5 person booking had called and emailed you throughtout the week leading up to our booking and you just don't reply. I'm sure you are losing custom because of this."
