"My wife and I had Sunday lunch at The Fishers and without a doubt, it proved to be the best (by far) Sunday lunch that we 've had for many an year! The quality and quantity of the meal reflected a true value of money. The beef was awesome, along with the fresh veg. etc. Nice, friendly owners can 't wait to visit there again, when i, m next in the area."

"Just back from Bread Of Heaven after spending a very enjoyable afternoon, with fabulous food and entertainment laid on. Great carvery with three choices of meat, and wide selection of vegetables. Large choice of desserts, all served with a smile. Would recommend for functions, or...just a quiet meal or Sunday lunch."

"This is a fabulous place with views of llansteffan and the mouth. we went to lunch today to celebrate the upcoming 90th birthday of my partner mother. the young staff was very friendly and polite and we had a nice Sunday dinner. the food was very good and service excellent. a little swallow was that they have forgotten to put a candle on the dessert, but it is not a big problem. the only small problem is the noise in the dining room that can make it hard to hear the conversation at the table. this could easily be solved by adding sound totes and/or soft furniture to the room. overall we had a nice afternoon in the mansion house and will definitely return."

"Went with a friend as she had birthday vouchers. Ordered a starter which took around an hour to be served. When the main eventually came my friend’s lamb shank was frozen on the inside. Not cheap either"

"When I found Amelia's cafe last Summer I could not believe, MY LUCK ! I, have now, become a regular.! Even with the, sudden, frightening and Pandemic lockdown , Julian continued to provide, a reliable service. As did , most of , the local and...businesses, did ! Julian still, offers, Takeaways and a very , pretty Patio seating, area , for anyone to enjoy, , who takes the trouble , to come out of town ! I, PERSONALLY, have made many, REALLY NICE , FRIENDLY and HELPFUL acquaintances, since, I've been, eating at Amelia's , for a year ! The menu is extensive . There is something for every pallet ! I have my favourites, but each time I try something new , that fast becomes , ANOTHER , favourite , Julian ! Lol x This is a family , and Professionally run, business and , IT SHOWS ! ALL, the Staff that are employed, and the, sheer cleanliness, of the premises , are not unusual in this area, However , Amelia's , has an EDGE ! This Most Secret , Hideaway, can not stay hidden from view for ANY, longer, my fellow foodies ! It's amazing! You need to come and experience, it , for yourselves , SOON ! MY VERY SPECIAL LOCAL DINING, EXPERIENCE, MUST NOW BE, SHARED WITH YOU, ALL ! Anyone , who is looking for , a ONE OFF Restaurant/Cafe , will not go away disappointed ! IF, Julian has to go through, yet, another long lockdown with other local businesses, I'm not sure home many will survive, this time ! Amelia's has , had to adapt , very quickly, as have others , in an ever, changing financial economy. Constantly, CHANGING GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS, have Crippled, many small and large businesses, like Amelia's ! Its been, particularly, TOUGH , on ALL SMALL BUSINESSES , but food outlets, have been hit, the HARDEST ! Thankyou , Julian and Winston for, persevering with the Governments constant suggestions , TO KEEP US SOCIALLY DISTANCED , YET ON, GOOD TERMS ! Lol x Currently, I am, very pleased, to see that , by expanding the, seating areas , we now also, benefit from, being sat , nearer, all the fascinating Memorabilia, that Julian and his Wife, have collected , over the years ! AND THAT IS , ALSO, AVAILABLE TO BUY ! Lol xd Thankyou for still being , here and there, Julian ! You will, , always, be able to, rely on me, to support, you , along with all, of the other , local services , that Burry Port and Pembrey offer and are providing, ME WITH, still !
