"Food was nice but nothing special and certainly not worth the price tag. This was our first meal out from our camping trip and we were left feeling very disappointed and out of pocket. Six of us ate, 4 adults and 2 kids, we shared starters and puddings and it still cost us over £200! Service was terrible and the atmosphere was non existent! Food portions were mediocre and certainly not worthy of the cost! Local taxi driver was great but said he hasn’t been in there in years as it’s no longer local and just aimed at the tourist market. Such a shame for the locals. If you want proper Scotland this isn’t it!"

"The hotel restaurant serves a pulled pork burger that staff conformed as Linda McCartney brand and also offers vegan Quorn nuggets. This is a great vegan find in Skye. Items are marked as vegan on the menu. I ordered the burger, which came with relish on the side, chips, and a nice salad not the sad limp kind you sometimes get. It was a decent portion and the burger was tasty. The non-vegan burger comes with coleslaw, which has been left off of the vegan burger so staff clearly know what vegan means. There are also vegetarian and gluten free options if that's your thing."

"This is a must attend when in the Isle of Skye. Clare’s hospitality and Ian’s Michelin standard culinary skills create an unmissable experience. They have an extensive wine list and are able to give great detail on each wine (having visited most of the vineyards personally). Their Burgundy list is particularly impressive definitively one of the best I’ve seen (if you’re curious, you can see on their website: SkyeFineWines.com). They both go to extreme lengths to ensure their guests get the most out of their experience, offering a wealth of knowledge on all of their dishes and wines, creating a truly personal experience for all To get the most out of the experience, I would definitely recommend staying the rooms are beautifully furnished with a selection of delightful white company lotions. This has been such a wonderful experience that I would consider revisiting Skye from London again just to come back to Coruisk House."
