"I went with a group of colleagues to Cafe Tres and truly enjoyed our dinner. The set-up is simple and trendy and the menu offers a unique selection of items. I had the Risotto, which was full of flavour and super delicious. The service is friendly and fast and the over all experience is certainly one to repeat."

"Wir haben ein Geschäftsessen im Restaurant du Pont abgehalten. Es wurden 3 verschiedene Hauptgänge zur Auswahl gestellt. Alle waren ausgezeichnet, aber der Fisch, absolut zu empfehlen! Das Ambiente ist sehr familiär, klein und knuffig. Eine Perle!"

"The daily menus are excellent, I still have to try the menu which will undoubtedly be very good. The adjective that comes to mind for the menus is “tasty”! If we exclude the most prestigious restaurants, the chef and his brigade deserve the maximum score. The staff is attentive, friendly, fast and warm. And the view of Lake Geneva is magnificent and the mountains..."

"I would recommend Grütli to anyone who will listen. My husband and I were staying in Montreux right along Lac Leman, and we decided to go for a hike (the hills are no joke! because we found this spot online. We got there pretty early, probably around 6:30pm, and the woman working told us unfortunately they didn’t open until 8pm. We were bummed but thanked her and headed out to see if we could find another good spot that was open. We got a little ways down the street, and she came running after us to say the chef told her it was ok for us to dine there. We were SO happy. We didn’t want to make the chef go too much out of his way, so we just got some Swiss wine and fondu, and it was so delicious. The server (the woman we talked to initially was so kind and welcoming. The chef even came out to say hello. Mind you, the woman didn’t speak English and I hardly speak French, but we got by I believe the chef was from Quebec? This was such an incredible, cozy, local spot, and I’m so thankful they let us stop in when they did NOT have to at all. Loved every bite and every second we were there."

"We went to a drink there and eat something in the first night we reached montreux. at the beginning we had a few cocktails, they were excellent and well done. (gin tonic and montreux mule) to eat we had burger with fritten. the meat was well cooked. I really liked it. also French riders were good. the menu has a good selection of foods and drinks, so they should find something they like. before we decided to have another round cocktails and we left the place very happy."

"We'd driven to the city to see the inspiration for the famous song "smoke on the water" and decided to eat lunch at the casino. I'd say the food was excellent but expensive (but the exchange rate is very low just now). Although we ate outside, if you dine here, you simply must go inside to see the bar and the casino. It is amazing. We ate salads which were hearty and beautifully presented, drank a beer and sat back and watched the people go by. If you like a high end-ish lunch, people watching and a bit of musical legend thrown in, you will love it here! If I wasn't driving I would have returned in the evening for cocktails and a try of my luck in the casino!"

"I noticed that the last review for the Royal Plazza in Montreux dates back a very long time and things have changed a lot since then! I have known this hotel and all ils restaurants for 25 years and have seen it evolve. If the hotel deserves its 5 stars for its location, this is no longer the case at all in relation to the quality of its service for the last few years. When you call, the people are polite but just like in a pizzeria! No special effort is made for customers. As for the food, it is good, as it would be in a pizzeria, nothing more. Very desappointing."
