"Big heartfelt thank you to All the staff at Tony macaroni in Largs most of all Paul , Amy n Shevaughn . The service quality was truly exceptional as always in this restaurant !! The quality of the customer service they provide deserves a loud round of applause . They have made this 100th birthday celebration for Eva such a special n memorable one!! Superb table settings with The balloons and cake . What a wonderful celebration for Eva !! The staff at Toni Mac are a very dedicated team that will go the extra mile to meet you and your families needs. It was truly an awesome experience. Food was So delicious!! Everything was excellent!! Everyone was happy !! No one happier than Eva who turned 100 !! What a grand celebration!!"

"Nice lunch on Saturday. large selection in the menu and good size parts. ofengebackend kabeljau was brilliant, with beautiful taste and texture. child food was also of a high standard, and again good portion sizes. the personal was friendly and attentive. beautiful decoration and layout also. we were a few times and both really enjoyed visiting."

"Lovely hotel in a lovely location at the south end of Arran. Four star experience but not in the way modern bland hotels do it, owners/hosts were very hospitable and friendly, room was comfortable and comfy chairs were well appreciated, resting after a busy day before heading down for dinner. Under new ownership so still ramping up their services, the bar menu was excellent and the bar staff were excellent. Had a lovely beach walk from the hotel through bluebell woods. Definitely returning this way again."

"Booked for dinner last Sunday evening and can’t wait to come back. The vegan starter I tried was possibly the best vegan starter I’ve ever had, ‘no parmesan’ potato croquettes, delicious. The mushroom stroganoff was also very good and although there was only one vegan dessert sticky toffee pud with vegan ice cream it was also good. It’s more upmarket than usual so not cheap but it was a lovely place for a treat, good staff and I’m definitely coming back for that starter again! Updated from previous review on 2023 04 28"

"Five of us had dinner here and a very mixed experience. Service at the bar was slow and poor. I had braised beef feather blade which when I started to eat it it was spicy and was not stated as so I cannot take even mildly spicy food. I sent it back and the manager came back to say he and the chef tasted it and could not taste spice and the server asked if “ I put salt or pepper on it” which did not help matters. The dish was changed for fish and chips which were poor as per a previous review very little fish and lots of batter which was not eadible. At this point my colleagues had finished their meals and I gave up on anything else.Two of the three fish dishes were the same. When I fed this back the manager took only one of the dishes of the bill the other mains were good but overall a very poor experience in terms of quality and for two of us an expensive poor meal. If we do stay at the resort we will not be eating here again."

"We were staying in the cabins(9 of us) and found the restaurant to be pleasant,hospitable,great service ,very friendly and accomodating . The quality of the food was excellent and the lamb to die for. Would recomend if you are in the area."
