"Fyi indian garden restaurant' has changed its name in Indian garden takeaway and the place has moved from brodick' to lamlash' (again lamlash high school this is also the only place that offers Indian food (only take away) in the island arran!"

"Five of us had dinner here and a very mixed experience. Service at the bar was slow and poor. I had braised beef feather blade which when I started to eat it it was spicy and was not stated as so I cannot take even mildly spicy food. I sent it back and the manager came back to say he and the chef tasted it and could not taste spice and the server asked if “ I put salt or pepper on it” which did not help matters. The dish was changed for fish and chips which were poor as per a previous review very little fish and lots of batter which was not eadible. At this point my colleagues had finished their meals and I gave up on anything else.Two of the three fish dishes were the same. When I fed this back the manager took only one of the dishes of the bill the other mains were good but overall a very poor experience in terms of quality and for two of us an expensive poor meal. If we do stay at the resort we will not be eating here again."

"This bakery is a little gem and is definitely worth visiting while staying on Arran! They have a wide range of delicious produce which you can tell is homemade. From lovely quiches to scrumptious chocolate treats. Would really like to give stars as it...was so good!! However it is a great bakery with handmade local produce and I would recommend to anyone in an instant."

"Worst scampi and chips, and pizza supper, we have had in a long time, very over priced for what you get. £9.50 for small portion of scampi and not a lot of chips. Pizza deep fried and disgusting, inedible. Passed off as looking like it was overdone because it was a stone baked pizza ?? This place has a premium location right next to the ferry terminal and so has a captive customer base of people who are just about to depart and don't have time to return and complain as the shop only seems to open 15 mins before boarding time. Given the number of people visiting the island this place really needs to up its game. Very disappointing. The Arran ferry provided a better standard of food."
