"Visited with a friend on a late wednesday evening for late dinner. The restaurant was empty (but I have seen it packed full on earlier visits , and there was one waiter. The interior of the restaurant is really cozy and looks good. The menu is...all round. It 's not really Finnish, nor nordic. Burgers, chicken skewers, salmon, grilled tuna, mushroom risotto...a bit of everything for everyone, I guess. Fusion cuisine? You tell me. We had a black salsify soup for starters, which was delicious. Really smooth and sweet, exactly as intended. For main course overcooked lamb shank in red wine sauce with parmesan potato purée and season 's vegetables. The lamb was really tasty and all the palate was balanced. The selection of music in the restaurant was really strange. One minute you 'd hear classical music, next some rock 'n 'roll and then some mild downtempo beats, as if the music was coming off a Spotify suggestion list or something, and this was a bit distracting as you couldn 't really keep the music background with the styles changing all the time. Staff (well, the only waiter was friendly and attentive. All in all, the food and service was really good, but that music thing bugs me... maybe I 'll have to revisit some day :"

"An incredibly difficult restaurant to review. I was so desperately excited for this experience but I was incredibly let down by the service FOOD there is so much thought and ideation put into the construction of the dishes and they look beautiful. The main issue was everything was so salty that it overshadowed the complex flavors that the chef wanted to create. For example, truffle being a strong flavor was totally washed over by the brininess of the sauces which then set in the palette course after course SERVICE this is where my experience fell totally down. I wanted a 5 course meal and after two hours, only 3 courses had come this wasn't the type of restaurant where a 3-4 hour meal would have been the norm. It was so slow, and so frustrating at the same time. There was no urgency and sense of timing. Service was haphazard, beverage suggestions came 30 mins before the food came out and while the servers were apologetic, I left hungry and disappointed I hope that the restaurant can take this review as conducive feedback. I do hope to visit in the future and have a better experience."
