"My wife and I had lunch here last week. The outdoor terrace looked attractive after a long trip. Unfortunately, our dinning experience did not live the expectations. The waiter/owner was unscrupulous and somewhat abrupt and the food matched his appearance, maybe we called... a bad day. Anyway, I had fried chicken, some of the little pieces were very boiled and others were pink against the bone. Of the pieces I ate, all were coarsely chopped (hacked) and had sharp ligaments of the bone. My wife had Bacalhao a bra that was cold and rocky. The 1/2li House White was hardly the quality we used in Portugal. I didn't complain, I was just relieved to get away from the place."

"What an experience! The food was incredible. Every dish was delicious. We had the pig with honey and mustard sauce (come with tomato rice and homemade chips) and the carburized seafood. For Dessert we tried the typical conventual sweets and the Custard cream (Portuguese style). The staff was also attentive and polite. Would go back and recommend."

"This is a place for lunch or dinner, even for eating dessert in the middle of the afternoon. we found this restaurant on the look for a light dinner. we stopped here, during our trip to make a break and spend our night here. we have taste...Gazpacho with some variants regarding the Spanish but tasty. omelette and salat. everything was really well cooked. the waiter was very friendly with us and spoke a really good Spanish. Of course, we recommend this place when they are looking for dinner during a normal day."

"If you are in Marvão and Castelo de Vide area, don't miss this small restaurant. Very local, tasty tradicional food and unexpensive restaurant. The owners are a very nice couple that run the restaurant for years and years. Not sure if they speak english, but wouldnt be a problem for sure;"
