"Walked up to the counter already knowing what I wanted to order. The young male cashier seemed to be fiddling with the register. He literally didn’t look up at me or say one word as I stood there waiting. Then an older female employee came over to ask if he needed her to make any food. He said no and then they both stood there still fascinated with the cash register. I was standing right at the counter this entire time. Neither of them looked up let alone made eye contact, or greeted me. It was as if I was invisible. After over a minute of standing there being totally ignored I turned around and walked out. I don’t care if employees were new or busy, it’s basic manners to acknowledge another human being if they’re three feet away. I would have been happy to wait if they needed a moment, but I felt like they were hoping I’d just go away so I did. Will not return."

"Trash.It’s a cool idea in concept but they barely cook your food long enough for it to warm up. It’s never hot because that would take too long.And even if you ask for it well done, it makes little difference. I don’t think I’ll be back."

"In Ferno had been recommended by locals. The outside seating looked very nice, but we had opted for inside. It was a cozy, haphazard interior of an old house, with basic Formica tables. The weather had turned very nice and they were slammed, plus down one server. Our server never made it to us, so the manager took over and did a great job. The menu was full of great, imaginative options, plus there were 3 appetizer and 8 entree specials. I had bison rolls with a dipping sauce for my starter. They were savory, and the sweet-and-sour like sauce had a real kick and was the perfect compliment. Delicious. I then had the broiled salmon special. Perfectly done and nicely presented. It was served on a corn and grain medley that was a delicious compliment. Everyone with us, including two serious food people, loved what they had, including dessert. I didn 't have dessert, but the ones at our table and those displayed at the hostess stand looked fabulous. They have a nice wine list with moderately priced wines. I was hoping for more Onkanagan Valley wine as I really like them and can 't get them in the US. If you 're looking for a dining experience, go elsewhere. But if you 're looking for really great, interesting food, I couldn 't recommend it higher."
